Mine has been going strong for about 2 years, hers had an issue after about 3 months. It would vibrate, but as soon as you applied lateral pressure to the brush head, it would stop vibrating. Philips was very fast at sending out a replacement (thankfully it was under warranty), and she's back up and running. I honestly think this is probably one of the best values in the Sonicare lineup. The more expensive ones have alot of extraneous features that I'm not sure I need. Do I really need a glass cup that can charge my toothbrush? No.

No point of spending more on the “smart” toothbrush with Bluetooth - bought one for a few months ago and the phone functionality that comes with it is the opposite of smart. This one is the best Sonicare brush you can get!

There are several different intensity settings to choose from.
