Got it for Black Friday after my Dentist recommended it for my wife. It is crazy powerful, it scared her the first few times she used it but now she loves it

I used many Sonicare Essence handles with the screw-on brush head for the last 10 yrs, and was always annoyed by the black stuff that accumulates under the head if not cleaned regularly. So I decided to get the 2 series instead of another Essence. I like that the brush heads are snap-on and stay very clean, but the only available brush heads are the full-size ones. I like the compact heads that are available for the Essence, but Sonicare does not make them for the snap-on. So I have to go to Amazon and find some 3rd party aftermarket ones. Just keep that in mind if you decide to switch to the Sonicare handles with snap-on heads and prefer compact brush heads.

Far superior cleaning to manual brushing. Timer helps to be sure you have achieved minimum brushing time. My dentist recommended drawing the brush slowly across the gum line, 30 seconds for each of the 4 regions (lower outer, lower inner, etc.).

My previous Sonicare toothbrush was the $180 version. After it failed, I tried to repair it, to no avail. Instead of dropping $180 on a product that admittedly lasts 3-4 years, I'm trying this tooth brush instead. If it lasts one year, that's still a better value. The vibration isn't as strong, and my teeth are clean, so its good enough.

Basic electric toothbrush is easy to use and makes you brush your teeth longer than using a manual brush.

I bought this brush just for the sake of buying something (I have a problem i know). I didn't think it would be any better than the vibrating toothbrushes at the local pharmacy. Boy was I wrong. I saw a difference in plaque after my first use! This thing is really something. So much so that I'm shocked that I have never had a dentist recommend it. I don't think I could ever go back to using a manual toothbrush. I'm going to try using this with the diamond line brush heads next. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Solid product makes it easy to use on a regular basis.

First time I purchased this model. I saw the many great recommendations online. It is a great toothbrush. You can really tell how much cleaner it gets your teeth. It worked better than any other toothbrushes I have purchased before.

This brush is better than a traditional toothbrush but is disappointing compared to other models from Sonicare. I purchased this model for travel and normally use the Sonicare Whitening model, though I rarely use the additional whitening setting. The battery life on this model is horrific! It doesn't even last through a 4 day business trip (8 brush cycles). The cleaning is also subpar. On trips, I am brushing with both this and a traditional brush and still cannot wait to brush my teeth when I get home. Do yourself a favor and pony up for at least the whitening model... your teeth will thank you.

Takes half the effort to brush than a manual toothbrush. Easy to use and clean.

I actually can feel how my tooth became better every day! I satisfied with a product 100% and price is right. The 2 minutes timer is really common and toothbrush has a indicator so you can know when it needs charge. 31000 rpm it's not a joke! Try and you will not regret!

My last electric toothbrush died 4-5 months ago, and I just didn't get around to buying a new one until I went to my dentist, who said... you aren't using an electric any more, are you? That motivated me! This one works just fine, and holds a charge for a decent amount of time. I wish the head was just a little larger.

I was looking for a few weeks for a good tooth brush and read all the reviews. Saw it said it was great and jumped to get one right away. Best decision I have ever made. Works wonders with plac and other build up.

This is my second brush.. the first one lasted over 4 years.. This one is smaller and lighter. It does have the beep in between each quadrant to brush each section 30 sec. I love it..

The Sonicare line is great, I bought this as a gift and they love it!

Great product for such a cheap price. Would definitely recommend but a bigger priced toothbrush would be even better if you have the money for it.

This by far the best toothbrush í have ever used. This makes other brushes feel inferior. Leaves a great refreshing feeling when done.
