This sonic toothbrush is a good replacement if you get it on sale AND have a rebate. The toothbrush heads can be purchased in bulk, which will save you money. This unit is rechargeable, but there is no way to replace the battery pack if it stops charging. This is not the cheapest model and doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the top end. Somewhere in the middle.

easy to use and good value tooth brush for any member of the family

I've used Sonic in the past and they have always done a great job. I found this brush at a very reasonable price. Make you you compare models to each other. Some upgrade models use the same replacement brush and the same strokes per second.... which to me means the same performance.

Not having a sonic care toothbrush before, it does take alittle time to get use to. It gets the job done!

Philips Sonicare - 2 Series Plaque Control Electric Toothbrush is very good. Earlier I used normal toothbrush. If I compare this toothbrush with the normal toothbrush this giving the good results. I like Philips Sonicare toothbrush

Excellent Toothbrush, is different than others I have used, and I like this better. Brush really cleans the back teeth.

I love my new toothbrush. It makes my teeth feel like I have just had them cleaned by the hygienist. It has a built in timer that makes a slight noise to tell you to move onto the upper teeth. It stops automatically when finished. Warranted for 2.5 years. Awesome!!

Sonicare is pretty much the standard in electric toothbrush tech. No need to get the higher end models, this one works just fine. More than powerful enough and accepts all the different types of newer sonicare brush heads. Teeth feel like they do after a dentist visit.
