We'd like to help you with these problems and hopefully make you say 'yes' to your toothbrush! Firstly let's take a look at the loud noise, could you reattach the brush head and make sure that the brush head is well placed and not loose or wobbly. A small gap between the handle and the brush head is normal as this is needed for vibration. If this does not help, you could also try another brush head. Regarding the power and charging issues, can you fully charge your Sonicare toothbrush for 24 hours and then try again, make sure not to place the charger on a metal surface or close to other chargers, as this may interfere with the charging process.
