I want to love this more. It’s okay. I wish I had gone with the model with the glass base recharger, which would have been more similar to a previous model I had. This version’s charging base isn’t very heavy and often tips over. It works fine, but the higher-end models feel like you are getting much better quality for your money.

Only negative is that it needs to recharge every 3 days. Expecting at least 5-7 days before recharging.

It's bristles are a little bit harder than expected but in overall a good toothbrush :)

Super Disappointed. The toothbrush which is not even a month old. Yo have to push the power button like 3 times to get it to turn on. Everyday and every time. I can't take it back to Best Buy for an exchange as it is past the return date. Now I have to deal with Sonic directly. This thing was almost $200!!!

It has been a long time since I have had an electric toothbrush. Since then the technology in electric toothbrushes has advanced in so many ways. For the most part I like this toothbrush a lot and there are only a few things that could be better. First, I would like to mention my brushing habits before I started using this toothbrush. I was the type of person that brushed once in the morning and once at night but never really paid attention to how long I brushed for or what parts of my mouth I was brushing. I just scrubbed for a little and hoped I got everything. Now my brushing habits have changed completely. The nice part about this toothbrush is that it buzzes every 20 seconds. The only thing I do not like about this is that I would rather it buzz every 30 seconds so you could do 4 quadrants of your mouth. But instead I just do one minute on the top and one minute on the bottom. The cool part is that it tells you once the 2 minutes are up. Since using this toothbrush for a week, I have been brushing for 2 minutes twice daily. Even in the morning when I am in a rush, I still brush for 2 minutes and it really goes by fast. The other great part about the time is it gives you some sense of what parts of the mouth to brush and you can ensure that you brush every part. This leads me to talk about the app. It would be cool if the app did more, but it is still a nice inclusion. The main things it does is keep track of when you should replace your head on you brush. It also lets you know your average time you brush each time, how many times per day you brush on average, and if you are pushing to hard when you brush. The brush connects to your phone via Bluetooth and it does so seamlessly and with little effort. Regarding the design of the toothbrush it feels premium. I was a little worried about the size and weight, but it is not bad at all and just makes it feel much more premium. Sonicare makes many different brush heads for different things. The ones it come in the package are the gum care brush and the standard one. I have been using the gum care one mainly to try and improve my gum health. The other nice part of this brush is that it has three different intensities and three different brushing modes which change automatically with different brushes attached. This is extremely nice because it gives you essentially 6 different options to choose from whereas some other brushes you only get one movement and one speed. It also comes with a nice travel case which can hold the brush and two heads. I feel a major difference in my teeth even after using this brush for only a week. My teeth feel cleaner than using a standard toothbrush and my guns do not bleed anymore which I believe is due to the gum care brush head. I would recommend this toothbrush to anyone who would like to improve their dental hygiene or needs a little help staying on top of brushing their teeth.

The best keeps getting better! I’ve been using Philips Sonicare electric toothbrushes for years. I’ve also owned other brands, but I kept returning to Sonicare. Why? I have found Sonicare offers the best performance to value of any brand (that I’ve tried). I’ve been using the 7300 for just about a month and it has been just excellent! The new feature that the 7300 offers over the last model I owned is the pressure sensor. I would wear through brushes pretty quickly on my prior models. Turns out I was applying too much pressure while brushing. This reduces the lifespan of the brush head, and lessens the effectiveness of the brush sonic motions. This new model and its accompanying tracking application software guides you to apply the right pressure while brushing, and provides a report of your brushing through the app. Think of it as tracking your steps per day in another popular electronic health device. This tracks your brushing effectiveness. Very cool! Your teeth deserve it! Pro’s Typical Philips high quality build and materials Excellent battery life (I’ve taken it away for weekend trips without the charger) Outstanding performance in cleaning my teeth, gets into all the nooks and crannies Intensity setting allows to dial up or down the vibrations (for those with sensitive teeth) Progress Report (via bluetooth), application is like tracking steps but for my teeth Pressure sensor with haptic response makes me a better brusher Handy travelling case makes it neat and easy to take on the road Different brush heads included (1 C3 Premium Plaque Control, 1 G3 Premium Gum Care) Con’s It’s kind of expensive, but like with all things “you get what you pay for”. In the long run this is a wise investment in preventative maintenance. My dentist visits have been much less eventful since I began using Sonicare toothbrushes. My dental hygienist noticed the difference right away! There’s a lot less scraping and pain now when I go in for my semi-annual cleaning. Highly recommended! A bargain at twice the price! PS. If anyone from Philips happens upon this review, you have a couple of misspellings on the 7300 product page. “...The progress report tracks four performance areas: brushing time, frequency, the brush head usage and the amount of pressure used as you brush. No need to have your phone with you in the bathroom. The progress report is avaible for you - anytime, anywhere. Importantly, tracking the use of each brush head prevents them from becoming ineffective and alerts you when to replace them forongoing results.” (avaible, and forongoing).
