As a person who is coming from a normal toothbrush experience I can honestly say I think this works extremely well, there are a few things that I had/have to get used to. My wife for years recommended I move over to a Sonicare like her, I declined saying my normal toothbrush was just fine as I was getting good reports from the dentist. Of course she was right though, Sonicare delivers. The first couple of times I brushed with this toothbrush I realized I'm using way too much toothpaste. The sonicare vibrates so much it will throw toothpaste and spit everywhere if you're not careful. I've learned to use less and keep my mouth closed. The sonicare does all the hard work for me, no real need to scrub like I used to. Also this toothbrush has different levels of clean, gum health and deep clean. You can change these to your liking and also adjust the intensity of vibration from rattle your eyeballs to comfortably numb. It pauses every few seconds to alert you to move on to the next section. If you apply too much pressure (like I was) it vibrates to let you know. The app also tells you things such as how much pressure you are using, how many times a day you typically brush and how much life your brush head has left on it. The brush heads are pretty expensive (to me)and seem to last about 180 days each. There is a way to set up auto re-ordering for brush heads inside the app but I'll probably just order them online. There are also options within the app that you pay for called teledentistry. You pay $10 per report and they answer questions about oral care. Not something I'm interested in since I have a great dentist that I can email quickly, but could be helpful to some. All in all, when I'm done using the Sonicare my teeth feel clean and white, my gums don't hurt, they're not red or bleeding and I'm letting the toothbrush do all the hard work. Besides learning a new way to brush with less toothpaste and the cost of the brush heads I think this thing is worth it!

    Leave Your Teeth Feeling Clean

I usually use a manual toothbrush and always thought my teeth felt clean. Then I switched to this toothbrush and I don't think I will ever be able to go back. Even after using it just once, my mouth felt as clean as when I leave the dentist after a cleaning. Have used the Sonicare 7300 for a few days now, my mouth as a whole feels cleaner and healthier than ever.

Issues with this brush, spotty connection to app

I have owned several Sonicare Toothbrushes in the past and I wanted to give this device a try since it is a newer concept syncing with an app to make brushing easier and more seamless. The set up is straightforward and seemed to work well, syncing with bluetooth on my phone and the app looks pretty standard, showing you areas to pay attention to in your mouth. The one issue I kept having is the brush would drop connection with the app even though it was still synced with the phone bluetooth. I had to resync this a few times and even had to delete the app and start all over again and resync. I gave up after a while and just stuck to brushing regularly. The other issue I had, the brush heads that accompany this are "special" meaning they will be recognized by the app and brush for certain areas to pay attention to like gum health etc. All well in good but I imagine these brush heads cost a pretty penny compared to generic heads. Great you can sense when a head needs to be changed on this brush, only if you are using the special Sonicare brand heads. In all not sure I would spend the $150 on this brush seeing there are better models out there.

I have been using an electric toothbrush for years and Phillips is always one of the tops My teeth are especially clean, and according to my dentist, my gums are in better shape because of it While the bluetooth is a neat function, I find it totally irrelevant. I brush twice a day, and do not follow the guide on areas and pressure

I've used a Phillips sonicare toothbrush for years. I was excited to try this version. The base on this one is a lot smaller than what I was using so it takes up less counter space. The brush heads have silicone edges so the plastic doesn't hurt to or gums. That's new and very cool! It has a feature that prevents you from pressing too hard as well. The vibration will stop when pressing too hard. This has taught me that I was continually pressing too hard using my old toothbrush. My teeth have not felt this clean in a very long time. I'm very happy to have this new sonicare.

It will takes some time getting use too but the Philips Sonicare ExperClean Toothbrush is great. It really gets your teeth clean. Its like going to the dentist for a cleaning. The unit is relatively heavy. Maybe because I’m use to a toothbrush without batteries, but fits well in my hands. ***warning*** I find myself wanting to brush my teeth like normal would (circles and back and forth) but I have to stop myself and let the Philips Sonicare “do the work”.

Get fresh breath and healthy gums with this Philips Sonicare ExpertClean electric toothbrush. The built-in sensor controls applied pressure to help avoid gum inflammation and soreness, while the soft, flexible bristles reach deep between teeth for up to 10 times better plaque removal.

This toothbrush works fine. The only complaint I have is the brush head makes a buzzing noise and it seems like the connection is not as tight as it should be. However, I would purchase this again. It works well.
