This is my first AV receiver.very easy to setup works great with 5 speakers.

This is the 2nd one we have gotten. Both zone 2 stopped working. Replacing it and getting an amplifier to help with the zone 2 issue. Hope this resolves. Only reason we are replacing it with the same one is because we purchased the warranty

Really love this addition to my home stereo system.

Amp did the job for my room setup with power to spare!!! Bluetooth great

Its very easy to setup and app give so many option for streaming music.

i love this receiver. it just took awhile to figure out how it all works. it has so many things it does that they had to give you your how to guide on disk. its not the most user friendly way to learn but its probably because im used to users manuels on paper. i totally understand why they had to do it this way- not complaining. i would buy it again in a heartbeat.

This receiver gets the job done and for a whole lot less money.

This has worked out very well for my home theater. No problems.

My first receiver and it is awesome...easy to operate...

I needed a reviewer that would work with my Sony 4K TV. This receiver fit the bill and was on sale. It was difficult to setup and the wifi had to be set manually to get it to work. You have to turn up the volume significantly to get adequate sound. I happy enough with the purchase so far though, but have only had it for 2 weeks.

Easy to use. Wasn't expensive. Has a lot of options.

I just had this setup and still learning the features -- I have a sub-woofer cable attached but I have to turn the volume high on the sub to get any sound -- did not had to do that with my old pioneer but I did not had a direct sub-woofer cable. I am guessing there is some option to set for it to play good with the cable.

Some very nice features for the price. Biggest drawback is lack of RCA jacks for older components like turntables and tape decks. I was steered toward this model even after saying I needed lots of RCA jacks and was not told of several less expensive Onkyo (sister brand of Pioneer) models that have them.

Let me first say I done a ton of research on receivers before purchasing this one. I've been using this receiver for almost a full month now so I figured now was a good time to write my review. I was looking for a receiver that would output two different inputs to two different rooms at the same time. I didn't want to move my PS4 and Xbox ONE back and forth from the Man cave and Living room depending on who wanted to play or watch whatever. This receiver does just that. Amazingly easy to set up. Anybody who thinks differently probably has a hard time adjusting the ringer on their phone. The online setup literally walks you through everything and shows you, with pictures, exactly where to hook everything up. It connects to the receiver via Wi-Fi after you plug the power cord in and then asks questions about what you want to hook up and then shows you where to plug everything in. The only issue I had was when it was running the auto calibration for the sound, it recognized that one of the surround speakers was hooked up with the polarity reversed so I switched them around. And it even told me to check that. It doesn't leave anything to interpretation. If you can't hook this receiver up, then you shouldn't be hooking up anything with a power cord. You should rely on the Geek Squad to come do it. It's a great receiver, sounds amazing and is packed with features. I was going to buy it when it was $699 but got lucky and they had it on sale for $499. Then it went down even more and price matched it to $399. To sum it up, I've had quite a few different receivers over the years but my Klipsch speaker setup has never sounded this good.

This purchase has been a great addition to my home theater setup. It does virtually everything that I need. My only gripe is that the setup isn't as intuitive as I think it should be and there's no information regarding audio passthrough (a feature that I had to search for on the internet).

The unit works extremely well and has so many fetures that I have yet had a chance to explore. Reception and clarity is extremely good, as is the power. I would deffinately recommend, as a matter of fact I will be purchasing a another unit for our other home to replace our existing unit.

Was looking for a receiver but didn't want to spend a lot of money. Found this one as a open box item marked down a significant amount. The receiver has all the bells and whistles that I need, my only complaint is that it took a while to set up because the directions are vague.

First time with a pioneer elite unit for me. Upgraded from an older Sony unit. Works well very well. My only complaint is the set up menus look very primitive in terms of technology. They have a very 8 bit quality to them. I've read this is common with pioneer though.

This was the second one we had home. The first model did not have enough ports to connect our things so we upgraded to this model. So far it seems ok although the bluetooth connection to the ipod is not great but I think that is just the nature of bluetooth.
