Wonderful sound for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have purchased this 5.1 surround system 2 times. One for me the other for my daughter and son in law. The center channel has a 6 way crossover, the two tower units have an 8 way crossover that works very well, the surround speakers also have a 6 way crossover. The system takes 25 hours of use for the speakers to break in. The cost of the whole system is just over $500 and to compare to other systems you would have to pay close to $1500 for similar quality . For the money this system absolutely ROCKS I can't stress this more. We are listening to the system as I write this, yes!

Great speakers!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You can't beat these for the money. Especially when Best Buy had them half off. It made them cheaper to buy than cheap speakers and they sound very good. The fs52's are paired with the matching center channel c22, matching atmos t22a's, and 2 pairs of the matching bookshelf bs22's for a 9.1 surround setup through the Denon x4300h receiver also purchased from Best Buy and it rocks. Watching movies like Transformers sounds like you are in the middle of the action. I highly recommend these Pioneer speakers in the Andrew Jones lineup.

Wow!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm REALLY enjoying these speakers. They're crystal clear & work great with my JBL powered subwoofer. I've wanted floor standing speakers ever since I reluctantly sold my JBL XR-160's years & years ago & I'm glad I chose these. Great price too!

Great speakers for the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a pair of these speakers to replace an old set of 3-way 12" Pioneer floor speakers that I have had for years. I needed something with a smaller footprint but was worried about giving up the bass that the larger speakers provided. As expected, I did lose the base output with these as compared to the old 12" speakers however the clarity of these compared to the others is far superior. I added in the 8" powered sub also made by Pioneer and now have a system that sounds 10x better than the previous. For an entry level system, these speakers with the added 8" powered sub would be hard to beat both in sound and price.

Love the sound quality is fabulous! Design is also
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't say enough how much I love these Pioneer Speakers, next to none! Besides the excellent quality sound, the design is high end and so nice to see every day. Certainly not your every day speaker design. Teddy

Best speakers under $1000.00
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes you read that right , go google the reviews of these speakers and you will see and read what the reviews stated when they first came out. Very large soundscape and they will require some horsepower to make them sing. I had them hooked up to a Integra DRX2.1 and they didnt hum like they should. I switched out the DRX for a Yamaha 105W per channel and they like the larger current. I then hooked them into an ADCOM 100 x2 amp and they really came alive since the ADCOM has a huge power supply and can control the drivers better. For the price , buy them , play them , and enjoy that you have a world class speaker for a tenth of the price.

Deal of the Century
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This will be a very short review because these speakers are simply amazing for the price. I work in a major broadcast facility and listen to calibrated Genelec studio monitors all day. When I get home, I'm blown away with the sound coming from these affordable Pioneer speakers. A real pleasure to listen to. I prefer these speakers to many others I auditioned - some at more than 10 times the price.

Four Stars (plus one)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I was checking out speakers I just kept going to the next more expensive set as they sounded better. Eventually I was listening to $1000 each B&W speakers. I even brought my wife down to listen. She thought the B&W's sounded great too. Then I came back to reality and thought about all the great reviews for these speakers. I could always return them. So I pulled the trigger. I am very happy with my purchase. These guys kick butt. Great presence and sound stage. Nice low end too. I could have spent lots more, but I'm happy and have money left over to enjoy life. No regrets whatsoever. So why only 4 stars? Because the B&W's were the 5 star speakers. But I give the Pioneer's the extra star for the amazing budget price.

Way better sounding than I could of ever imagined!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow.... the sound you get for the $ with these speakers is just not rite! no there not as good as your typical well designed $2000 speaker never expected them too. But anyone looking to build a budget music or HT system I can't think of a better foundation than these speakers! The only suggestion I have is use as good of an amplifier as you can afford they really come alive with a lot of good quality power!

As Good As They Say
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the chance to compare these directly with speakers that cost 10 times as much, and honestly, these really held there own next to them. For the price, this is an incredibly piece audio equipment!

Amazing Speakers !! (even more for the price)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me say there are A LOT of options for floor speakers out there. Kiplish, Polk, Bose, Pioneer, Yamaha, and the list goes on. After reading many Many MANY reviews, I was pending towards these Pioneers because (1) audio-experts were reviewing how detailed the sound from those is (despite not being that bassy), and (2) it's price is unbeatable among the other brands - many of the others cost over twice!!! And so I went for it, and boy I am AMAZED by those babies. I hooked them on my Yamaha RX-V465 and they are impressive. Music and definition is excellent, from hard rock, punk rock, techno, all the way to classical, Piano and Cello. The mids and highs of those speakers are excellent, piano and classical listening is simply a great experience. Home theather usage is excellent too, and if you have a good source they do sound how real-life sounds should. If you are a subwoofer junky (as I am) you will notice that it does lack bass as everybody says, but their speakers are small, so no surprise here as they are not designed to go low (from ear, I'd say they go down to 55hz well). But then a small equalization compensates it easily, and honestly you might not even need a subwoofer, as the sound is so well balanced. I've always been a subwoofer junky and I am having the best time with these for many months now without a subwoofer, so I strongly recommend those. Aesthetically I was a little unsure if they were nice (the picture in the site is not great), but I was positively pleased when I unwrapped it: it's very elegant and nice looking. Connectors are of good quality too. Kudos for Pioneer for designing and selling this awesome product with such a good price. I was so pleased with these that I bought another pair a few months later, so now I have 4 :) R-E-C-O-M-M-E-N-D-E-D !!!

Good budget floorstander
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price, I think it's a pretty good speaker but if you're expecting miracles, I suggest you look elsewhere. It has decent frequency range but requires a lot of power to bring it to life. Not the best experience at low listening levels.

Outstanding entry level speakers.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Pioneers offer is great midrange sound, they outperform speakers that can be found in most home theater in the box systems. Paired with the additional pioneer Center Channel speaker they offer a great surround sound system on a budget. They also do not require a super powerful receiver, but lesser powered receivers may have to work harder to get the speakers to perform at the level that the user would like.

Pleasantly surprised
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was pleasantly surprised with these. I was skeptical when I first heard them - the floor models were beat up and not working properly. I went with them anyway to stay on budget. The recevier that was recommended was not available and the next step up was on sale, so I got a little more powerful of a receiver and these speakers sound great with it! Small footprint, clean sound, and easy to set up.

Excellent speakers at a great price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I saw these speakers mentioned favorably in Stereophile magazine. They were designed by Pioneer's well known speaker designer Andrew Jones. When I saw them on sale I thought that I would give them a try. These are remarkable speakers - they provide excellent sound at a very reasonable price. They are a steal!

For the price? You can't beat these.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been rocking a small set of bookshelf speakers in a 2.0 setup for a few years. I kept hearing about these on various forums regarding the sound quality for it's price range. While walking around Best Buy on Black Friday Weekend, we spotted these on sale for just $77 a piece. That was an offer I couldn't refuse. They arrived far ahead of the estimated ship date which was awesome. After wiring them up I could finally hear what I'd been missing. They put out great sound. Vocals are clear and it has enough low end that you could get by without adding a sub in the mix. Perfect for apartment dwellers like myself. A few days later I spotted the matching SP-C22 Center Channel on sale and pulled the trigger. So far my 3.0 Andrew Jones Pioneer setup has been a dream. It's way more fun listening to music and watching movies. They are a tad on the bulky side, and the center could give you some issues with placement, but for what you're getting with these towers I couldn't recommend them more as an entry level ticket to home theater greatness.
