recommended buy the sales person to go with the system for the 4k tv and works out very well, good choice

Nice mid level receiver. fits our needs. Only issue is volume must be turned way up.

This is a great multipurpose receiver and offers lots of help with my TV, etc.

My 2nd Pioneer Elite, unfortunately this one didn't last more than 30 days as the sub output died. Just stopped working one day so I had to use the second sub output (it's a 5.2). Being that the first output didn't last very long, I took it as a bad omen and returned the unit while I still could.

This is a great value if all you need is 5 channels

We were looking for a simple, AM/FM receiver that we could hook our DVD, TV and speakers up to. What we got was an overly complex piece of equipment that is probably more suitable for a moderate-to-high-end home theater set-up. This goofy thing took hours to set up (speaker balancing, etc.). The manual included in the box basically showed how to get the device out of the box and on the shelf. The REAL manual is over 150 pages and you have to get it online. To top it off, you have to translate the home-theater jargon into laymen's terms to plug the peripheral devices up to it! If Best Buy only caters to audiophiles and home theater junkies, I guess we will have to shop someplace else.

Died after a week. The sound was was fine. Nothing spectacular but good for the price since it was on sale. Spent a little more on a Yamaha and am much happier.

I bought this receiver about a week ago and found it easy to set up for the most part. The Wifi set up was a bit challenging, but my fault as I hadn't looked deep enough into the instruction manual to discover how to use the keyboard input correctly when entering my WiFi password. Oh well, my bad. other than that it was a breeze to set up, especially after my previous Denon receiver, which was a real bear to make operational. Anyway very nice receiver at a great price! Tons of features and nice options for different sound modes.
