I have a 5.1 setup so the only reason you may want to look elsewhere is if you need 7.1 or 7.2. The automatic speaker setup works very well and removes the need to set individual channels and levels yourself.

Good, but lacking Atmos

Great Receiver

Multiple HDMI inputs that you can program and name during setup. Easy setup as well. I bought this to upgrade my old unit and get rid of my sound bar. The pass-through feature allows you to watch tv or play a game with the unit off.

It also has tons of power for anyone who has a 5.1 system. Sound is clear hits the high, mids, and lows perfectly. This receiver will immerse you in the movie or game.
