For the money, it's a great value and easy to use.

Low powered and kind of disappointed there was no pre-out. It sounds good "had" to buy some Klipsch speakers for the efficiency. Now it rocks, I would recommend it with the above caveats.

Got this to drive excellent speakers, already owned, after previous receiver died. Use it for music, TV, movies. Does a great job, HDMI works flawlessly. Setup was no problem at all. So far, so good!

Pioneer Elite - 700W 5.2-Ch. 4K Ultra HD and 3D Pass-Through A/V Home Theater Receiver - Black - I was not in the market for a new receiver but when I saw the special price I had to buy one. Took it home replace my 14 year old Elite Receiver and it works great HDMI is so nice and easy to use love it.

Returned for a denon. Don't buy if you want multiple zone for playing two sources at once. It can't. And every every time I turned on the tv it would take over the system. So if I was listening in zone B and someone turned on the tv it would switch to tv sound. The direction sucked and had to search through many forums with people having the same troubles. Only positive was it sounded great. And the app really sucks.

The amp has plenty of great features and plenty of power. I especially enjoy the Bluetooth capability and room compensating setup features. I am having difficulty with the "B" speaker switching but, will keep trying to make it work. Overall, this was a good investment.

This reciever was recomended by the Magnolia salesman and it was a great choice, It brought my Cambridge Soudworks towers, center channell and rear surround sound speakers to life compared to my older Sony reciever. Also hooked up a Klhspsh 12" sub woofer to top off the sound

After a few trips back to the store for info I was able to get everything hooked up as none of my components are HDMI . So far its been great with separation while watching movies . The salesman guided me to this rerc as I was looking at a different one . No regrets

Got an excellent Pioneer receiver out of the box with a great discount. I am very happy with it and it has two separate speaker settings, a and b so I can switch between my indoor and outdoor speakers, or both.

The Pioneer Elite VSX-45K is consistent with the Pioneer receiver products. The set up is easy, the power is adequate to drive bookshelf speakers and the sound is clean. I have been using the receiver to play high resolution audio files with the USB input.

This receiver has great sounds but the user interface for programming is not straight forward and does not allow for ease of user adjustments. The programming app leaves much to be desired.

We got a new tuner (Pioneer) to improve the sound quality of TV programs. We got that and much more, including streaming video for movies and programs from Netflix. It has enriched our viewing immensely.

Great receiver and I was able to accomplish my objective of a single device to control all other devices (DVD player, Blue ray player, apple TV, cable, etc.). However, the instructions could of been a little better. Considering the cost, two thunbs up.

setup of elite amp is easy but took several tries to get iphone to connect to wifi on elite, and get app on iphone to work with IControl for volume and other functions. Pioneer Elite replaced a 5 year old amp with snow in HDMI output port to HiDef TV.

This is a good receiver, but almost the same as the VSX-830-K for less $$. The only difference I can see with the other receiver is no "Elite" tag, and 1 year warranty versus 2.

I actually found this item open box- as it was a display item. The price was fantastic and nothing was wrong with it. It was exactly what we needed to start our home theater. It has all the functions and outputs we needed.

It's really good. You just have to get the hang of it! I use my Chromecast in HDMI4. Pandora is a little hard to set up but works. Bluetooth finds my Phone. And just a really nice nifty Stereo! Best i could ask for!

Bought may dad this receiver to replace his old/dated one. The man couldn't be happier. Now he's claiming that his Home Theater sound is better than mine! This was one helluva purchase, I highly recommend this product.

Great stereo, had all the newer technology, Had a little trouble with set up, the wifi with out a direct connection was hard to connect to and came in and out, though after connecting direct problem solved

This receiver is a decent buy, at the price. Everything about it is solid. Except for one thing. The system does not auto switch to the type of audio signal that is being received. When I am playing a movie that is Dolby Digital 5.1 and the sound was set to Dolby pro Logic, it will not automatically switch over to the proper setting. A couple button presses and all is good, but my other Pioneer elite automatically changes depending on received audio source.
