Horrible communication

Inside the store in VA. Was their a remote available even though it was “open box” after some time they went found the item confirmed “yes” yes there is a remote control only for me to get to the store and find NO their is not a remote available. The receiver has a ton of capabilities NON that are easy to manage or assign w/o the remote the aftermarket remote I bought is dismal at best. So you get 2 stars from me poor coordination and horrible communication made a bad experience.

Set-up wasn't as clear as I would like. After downloading the 152 page manual, I found out what isn't mentioned in "original set-up"

Factory settings are not very good for dialog perception. Part of the setup in zone 2 still a mystery although mostly able to use now for analog features. ARC from TV supposed to work if TV in PCM mode to Zone 2. Still not working.

Open Box Item that Didn’t work

Trip #2 it has error codes indicating it was not functioning and would trip off. Returned

Defective product

We had to return it because we could not get it to connect with the dissents. For the price it should have been a great item. It was a gift and we spent hours trying to get it connected to no avail.

Pioneer is Ok

For an expensive piece of tech in 2020 this should not be an issue, especially without saying why it happened in the first place.
