    • Continuous Watts x Channel @ Ohms: 80 watts x 7 channels @ 6 ohms, 8 ohms
    • Number of Channels: 7.2 (The number of discrete channels of sound output. This can be a single number or multiple numbers separated by decimal(s). The first number is the primary, horizontally directed audio channels. The number after the first decimal, if applicable, is the number of subwoofer outputs or channels. The number after the second decimal, if applicable, is the number of height or atmospheric channels designed to immerse the listener by producing overhead sound effects.)
    • Number of Audio Zones: 2 (Audio zones, typically designated by rooms in a home, are areas in which all speakers are dependent on the same sound source. Whether a zone encompasses one or multiple rooms, the receiver or preamp/processor is used to control all aspects of its audio and is able to select which zones receive sound.)
    • Audio Only Inputs: 5 x Analog audio, 2 x 3.5mm audio, 1 x Phono
    • Network Connector(s): 1 x LAN
    • Video Pass-through: HDR, 2160 (4K), 3D (Devices with this feature allow video signals to travel from their source to a target device without alteration. For example, a receiver with 4K pass-through would allow 4K video signal from a Blu-ray player to pass to a target TV with surround sound; without the pass-through ability, the receiver would not allow both 4K video and surround sound to be transmitted simultaneously.)

Products that support hi-res audio deliver audio signals with a dynamic range and bandwidth far greater than that of a standard CD so you'll be able to enjoy pure music with outstanding sound quality. The device supports high-resolution audio signals, which more closely resemble the quality of music as it was originally recorded, with more texture and detail than can be heard via typical music streaming services or CDs.)

Whether a zone encompasses one or multiple rooms, the receiver or preamp/processor is used to control all aspects of its audio and is able to select which zones receive sound.)

    • Surround Sound Supported: DTS 96/24, DTS:X, Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD (Surround sound systems use multiple audio channels and speakers to create an immersive sound experience for the listener. Q: how many speakers can I to connect , can I to connect mega CDS and tapes

A: This can be set up with anywhere from 2 to 9 nine speakers. It can be used as a 7.2 or a 5.2.2 surround configuration. You can connect a turntable, cassette player, or CD player using the analog and optical inputs.

Q: Does this or will it get eARC support?

A: No, the receiver does not have an eARC support.

Q: Is it possible to use wireless speakers for the rear channels without having to purchase a separate transmitter & receiver for the speakers? If so, what speakers are compatible with this receiver?

A: No, this receiver does not have a built-in transmitter for wireless speakers. The only wireless connections it supports are for connecting to the internet for Spotify and others, and Bluetooth for connected devices.

Q: I am trying to pair Sony headphone to the Pioneer Receiver. It will not pair with each other. What am I doing wrong?

A: This unit is a Bluetooth receiver not transmitter. You would need to purchase a Bluetooth transmitter and hook it up to the receiver. Something like this would work best https://www.bestbuy.com/site/aluratek-bluetooth-audio-transmitter-black/6332920.p?skuId=6332920 . Unless you meant the Sony TV headphones. In which case those are RF and need to use the dock they came with. Either way you would also need a 3.5mm to a 1/4 inch aux adopter https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-3-5mm-to-1-4-headphone-adapter-black/6412589.p?skuId=6412589. And Where it says phones on the front of the unit it were you would plus either your dock or Bluetooth transmitter in.

Q: I do not see MP3 listed in Supported File Formats. It that true, it doesn't support MP3??????

A: The receiver doesn’t need to play MP3. The device you connect to it via Bluetooth only needs to be able to play them

Q: Any dynamic range compression? I hate having to rush to lower the volume when things start exploding and then crank it back up when the talking begins. Old ears, you know..

A: It does have several options for dealing with this. It has a "Loudness Management" mode that is useful for listening at lower volumes, depending on the source format (Dolby Digital Plus or TrueHD, for example). Also, it has some Tone adjustments; one that can boost dialog at all volumes, or another that will increase the volume of the center channel, which helps boost dialog as well.

Q: Can the Zone 2 output act as preamp outputs? I might want to connect an external amp for more power.

A: Yes, I did that with my receiver for zone 2 for outdoor speakers and they sounds great!

Q: I am considering buying this unit, can a dvd player and vcr player be hooked up to it?

A: Yes , you can , hook it hdmi, coaxial , etc. I love mine !
