Very good AV receiver can go the long haul

I had high expectations for this, but Pioneer seems to have an issue connecting to LG TV's. I thought they would have fixed by now. Had an issue with the 91 and this one as well. Every time the TV turns on it switches to anything but the cable box, Very frustrating, But the main issue with the 103 was there was a constant loud click in the box. Not sure what it was, but it seemed to happen every time a new signal came in, Also the TV would start blinking then flashing different colors and go dark. It started with the Apple TV, then with the Cable box. I have an LG OLED. This was the deal breaker after a week, so I returned for the Denon S940H, which works perfectly!

Returning
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The receiver would not show any HDMI display other than my satellite. PS3, Wii HDMI, I even plugged in a Chromecast, nothing worked. For some reason it would work (display) if I went in and out of settings (without making changes) but then it would stop working again. All of these works fine with my Onkyo TX-NR636. I needed to expand my sound system so went into Best Buy to get a TX-NR676 or 686, but they talked me out of it in favor of this "Magnolia" Pioneer (which Onkyo owns anyways) but I was extremely disappointed. The app and interface does look better than the Onkyo, but I am all for quality and not pretty things.

Output toast in month 1, abysmal customer support
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recently replaced by 11 year old Yamaha receiver with this one based on Best Buy recommendation. Easy set up. For the period it functioned, I liked the output and performance. However, Pioneer customer service works 9 - 5 M-F and is abysmal at best. Now I have to go through a repair cycle - god knows what kind of ride I will be taken through. Was a mistake switching from Yamaha! Never buy a Pioneer!

Very Frustrating
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m rating this unit poorly because of its horribly inconsistent Bluetooth operation. Some days it works great, but more often than not it simply will not connect to any of my devices. Even with multiple restarts and resets it just will not connect. I’m planning to replace it with a different brand.
