Hooking everything up was pretty easy and even though I've only had the product for a bout a week now it's doing it's job. Will see how long it last.

Good sound looks great simple to used needs more watts

I was looking for a quality receiver at a reasonable price with enough power to drive my Martin Logan electrostatic speakers. This receiver filled all my requirements, and I am totally satisfied with the results.

Actually, this unit replaces an older Pioneer receiver I purchased from Best Buy a number of years ago. The new unit accommodates the newer features in TV's and DVD players and overall, provides an excellent surround sound experience at a very reasonable price.

I went into the store to purchase another receiver and the tech talked me into buying this one and it turned out to be a great purchase.

Much connectivity. Allows many choices from menu items. Allows all speakers to do their jobs better. Would recommend.

This is a very, very good receiver for its price. In my opinion, likely as good a receiver as some costing twice as much. I've been impressed with its rich sound, and its easy to use on-screen interface when hooked up to a compatible TV. I have only 3 minor complaints: 1) There are only 3 HDMI 2.2 inputs out of 6 total HDMI inputs. Why not make all 6 HDMI 2.2? 2) The volume readout starts at some arbitrary "0" (which is loud!) then goes into negative numbers for lower volume and positive numbers for louder volume. Any volume in the positive numbers is LOUD! I usually keep the volume set at about "-20" for gaming, and lower ("-25" to "-30") for movies and TV. Perhaps you could change this to a more normal zero-to-100 scale, but I haven't figured out how. Which brings me to the third minor complaint (and this is a universal complaint about ALL electronics sold today): The only in-depth users manual is available on-line!! Why can't we get a good, in-depth, PRINTED manual with our new expensive, complicated electronics?? These are minor complaints, but are the reason I couldn't give this receiver a 5 star rating. But I would definitely recommend this receiver for a home theater on a budget.

Pioneer on sale. A great bargain! Easy to install. Replaced a 5:1 receiver. Current home has 7:2 capability. What a difference..

Able to hook up all components plus wireless capabilities, as well as phono output! Great receiver!

This receiver was very easy to hook up to my TV and sound surround. The ARC component makes all the sound flow seamlessly without any manipulation of the remote control. It was a great buy.

This equipment as expected proved what it's worth. The brand name truly live for its quality.

did not have enough audio outlets on the back for the system. Will do if had new components, I had an old piece.

I don't have much to compare it to, but it seems like a solid Unit to me. 4k pass through and hdr work fine.

I purchased this receiver to go with the TV and blu-ray player I also purchased. I wanted to update my home theater without breaking the bank.I installed all purchased components to work with my existing speakers. Both the picture and the sound quality are excellent.

My old Pioneer Receiver were 27 yrs old(1990).I had it repaired one time 8 yrs ago.

The only problem I have had is it is a little difficult to go from Zone 1 to Zone 2.

I really enjoy this receiver. I love using Atmos with my 4k player. Works very well!
