Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned a few pairs of the Plantronics Back Beat Fit wireless headphones and thought I would have a great experience with these. If you like the feeling of a water-tight seal in your ear while you jog, these headphones are for you. All you can hear (besides the music) if your footsteps and your breathing. The first time I tried taking these headphones for a spin, I stopped about 50 yards into my jog because the reverb of my footsteps through my ears was unbearable. Not only that, I could not hear anything else around me. I recommend a pair of headphones that allow at least lets some sound in. I ended up going online and finding the older model Backbeat Fot headphones, and paid a little more for them, but it was worth it.

This model features 6 mm drivers and passive noise-canceling eartips deliver deep, rich sound and block out noise, if on the contrary your interested in hearing your surroundings, then the BackBeat FIT is a better option since it has AlwaysAware ear tips. the design lets in ambient sound allowing you to simultaneously listen to music and hear your surroundings like traffic, cyclists, pedestrians, or other runners for safer training in any environment. The rubbing noise is a ‘stethoscope’ effect of any occluding earbud‐style headphone (fabric or rubber). This effect is slightly louder with a fabric cable rather than a TPE cable. As an active headphone, the fabric cable was intentionally selected despite this challenge because it has less friction rubbing on moist skin in motion (than a typical TPE cable has). Horrible product do not buy buyers beware!!!

I recently just purchase these headphones and I’m past my 14 day return policy. These headphones was working all the way up until tonight. These Headphones haven’t been damaged and have barely been used and now in the middle of a very good work out these headphones stopped working and it won’t connect to my iphone.I am very irate that I pay so much money for these headphones for them not to work only and to have them for less than a month. If wireless headphones are not made by Sony or Beats by Dre do not buy it is my recommendation I’m learning from my experience tomorrow I am buying me Beats by Dre so this doesn’t happen again

If the ear buds do power on and your phone is not detecting them, you should be able to fix with the following process: With the headset powered on, press and hold the Volume up (+) button and Volume down (-)button until you hear "pairing." Then go to Bluetooth settings on your phone and you should see the PLT device as available. In case the ear buds were actually listed under bluetooth settings but wouldn't connect, make sure you completely delete them from your phone, then reboot your cell phone and repeat the pairing process so the ear buds appear under settings again and select. A little less than excited

I replaced them with the Skullcandy Evo Bluetooth earbuds as my primary choice, and only use these for working out now because I don't care if they get sweaty and break. Not my fave.

quality has gone down alot
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My first pair was awesome no issues for 2 years until they broke due to my own fault, I was able to get the same brand but not the same quality as the first pair I bought. I found myself returning and exchanging new pairs every 3 months for regular issues you would find in a pair you have used for a long time. Audio not working, head phones would disconnect for no reason, volume maximum warning several times when I didn't even touvh the volume, one side of the head phone wouldn't work, wouldn't charge you name it. for 70 and a 40 dollar replacement plan not worth it and I just gave up on the product, I had tried more then the avg Person most likely and retuned and exchange 7 of these and never getting better save yourself the tip and go with other brands

For linking and audio issues, you might want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection with your phone. To do so: Delete the headset from your cell phone’s list of paired devices. Once deleted, power your phone completely off, then power it back on. This resets the Bluetooth stack in the Bluetooth software on the phone and Re-pair the headset with your phone. If you still get the same results, and it was handled under normal use and this we do recommend that you replace that unit. We thank you for bringing this to our attention. Worst product ever

When the BackBeat FIT 350 is taken out of the box, the unit goes into pair mode automatically, but if the earbuds are not showing under Bluetooth settings on your phone, you can do this manually. To do so: Power off the ear buds, then press and hold the power button for 6-8 seconds, until LED flashes red and blue repeatedly. This means the ear buds are in pair mode and you should see it listed as available under Bluetooth settings on your cell phone. We hope you will find this information useful. Great sound...when it works.

The sound is second to none. I have only used for frequent workouts and conference calls. Asked for a refund, it am going to have to settle for exchanges.

Poor Sound, Poor Call Quality

Great sound in light wireless headphones

First impressions are that these have great sound, easy to pair the first time, very light and fit pretty well in my small-ish ears. I use primarily outdoors while walking dogs and they work well for hearing ambient noise. The only downside are that these don't have a microphone to take calls, (the never said they did, so I wasn't expecting it.) and if you don't clip them to your clothing, they could fall off if you need to take them out and wear them around your neck.

If you are experiencing some audio issues with the headset, you may want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection with your mobile. To do so: 1) Unpair the headset from your mobile phone by accessing your Bluetooth settings. 2) Power off your mobile phone for 2 minutes and turn it back on. 3) Re-pair the headset. With the headset powered off, press and hold down the power button for at least 10 seconds until you hear "pairing" and you see the LED flashing red and blue. 4) Access to your Bluetooth settings and select "PLT_BBFIT". Once successfully paired, you will hear "pairing successful" and the LED on your headset will stop flashing red and blue. You may also want to test the headset with a different mobile to completely isolate the issue. If for some reason the audio is still distorted, it could mean an actual problem with the headset and it will be best to replace it. Remember this unit counts with a limited warranty since the first day of purchase and you can request a replacement directly through our official website.
