I previously used BeatsX and those headphones are a lot smaller, lighter, and sleeker. The only upside to these headphones is water resistance and the ability to plug into airplane jack. Sound quality is not as good as the Beats.

Bought based on other reviews that noise cancelling was good. Coming from bose qc20. The 410s sound better w/anc on. Finally got chance to use on a plane. Very little engine hum was eliminated.

Returned to obtain something with better quality. I did not like the way this product laid around my neck. The sound quality was not the best

This was for a user that does not like the over the ear headsets due to his eyeglasses. He really likes these and seems to work very well. Easy to configure to windows 10 and our cloud-hosted phone service.

I switch between my surface 6 and my iphone xr several times a day. It default sinc's with my phone and getting it to connect to another bluetooth device is excruciating and time consuming.

These earbud head phones are great. Easy to operate, plenty of soft buds with different sizes for all ear sizes. I like the necklace feature so when I'm flying I'm not searching on the floor for my buds.

The microphone is terrible. Period. It's in a bad place and noisy as it moves on the collar. The controls are also noisy when making adjustments because they are adjacent to the mic. I have also had a LOT of complaints from the other end of the call about microphone volume level being too low AND it being very narrow frequency range (nasally). Plus there is NO side tone in the headset for telephony or web calls. So it's hard to hear yourself with the ANC active. I'll be returning mine promptly.

I would recommend to my family and friends! This is a great product for people who are looking for wireless ear buds with long battery life that don't fall out.

Plantronics makes some good technology. The headphones are lightweight and comfortable for long term use. The noise cancellation cuts out nearly all bus & train background sounds. Voice quality is excellent for podcasts. Music quality is good. This is a great headset for the price. Pro: -Noise cancellation makes a big difference. These are in-ear, so it’s not 100% elimination, but it comes close in many situations: Office white noise, train, walking around the city. Even with no content, these buds truly isolate you from the rest of the world. Performance does not match BOSE, but neither does the price. These are an excellent value for active noise cancellation. -Battery life is excellent, with the set regularly lasting 8 hours of use on a full charge. 10 minutes on the micro-USB charger gets you an extra hour of listening. -Controls are easy to use with distinct tactile patterns so you can feel that you’re pressing the right buttons. -You can wear the buds with the wires over your ears or under, but you have to adjust the wings to ensure they’re pointed he right way. -The package comes with a carry bag to keep everything from getting tangled. Unlike many behind the neck sets, the wires are strong and look like they’ll last a while. -If you only have a wired option (i.e. plane armrest), these can be connected in with the included adapter. Con: -There’s no ANC in wired mode. They behave like a decent pair of standard buds with better than average sound isolation. -Sound quality is average. Listening to music is a similar experience to a $30 set of wired headphones. There’s little depth to the music. Most of what you hear is mid-tones with the highs and lows limited to your imagination or memories from other listening experiences. Apparently, at the price point you can have good audio or good sound isolation, but not both. -There’s no noise cancellation on the microphone. If you’re in the city, your callers will know you’re in the city. That said, they can still hear you well. The mic has great gain so you can be heard loud and clear. Value: You get a lot for your money, but there are compromises. I’ve tried several other sets of earbuds at this price point, and they all sound better when listening to music than the Backbeat GO 410. However, none have the sound isolation that these deliver. Conclusion: These are a compromise. They’re made for those working in noisy environments with a primary goal to eliminate that noise as a distraction. In this sense, they perform well. If your primary objective is good sounding music, consider alternatives.

Bought them for my wife and she loves them. She is hearing impaired and the are a Godsend compared to the Sony set she was using.

What is the first job of a good set of headphones? They need to sound great…these do and then some. The latest Bluetooth 5.0 interface, a companion app that allows customization, between 8-10 hours of listening time (on the lower end of you use the ANC feature) and easy charging with the included cable. Pairing is easy, and the BackBeat App allows you to activate ANC or deactivate it, you can also customize the sound with two EQ settings called Bass and Bright. The bright setting has just the right amount of bass and treble for a great sound in my opinion, the bass setting is for those who prefer that much more bass. Both sound great. ANC is good, not on par with over the ear headphones but it works great for in ear headphones. Calls are clear, and the caller had no trouble hearing me and vice versa, probably a lot to do with Plantronics starting out as a phone headset company and easy Inline controls allow you to activate your phones voice assistant, adjust volume, adjust ANC, skip tracks etc. The real innovative feature is there are “Smart Magnets” in each earphone that when connected together put the headphones into a hibernation mode that turns off ANC and the connection to conserve battery life…very convenient. Overall Id recommend these great sounding, long lasting, Noise Canceling headphones.

Bought this specifically for use on airplanes. Noise cancelling is marginal, no foam ear tips are available for it, which would improve the noise cancelling ability, but worst of all the 3.5mm plug is not compatible with airline headset plugs! If I'm watching on my tablet it's ok, but I watch as much of the airplane's movies as my own. Very dissapointing. YMMV

Plantronics is well-known for headphones used in the office, most products work well and are of good quality. Decided to try the Plantronics brand for personal use, and have been very pleased with the results. Fit: no problems with a choice of tips for the most comfortable and secure fit. The buds go in well and stay in even when wearing to take a nap or drift off with some music or an audiobook at night. Overnight wear is comfortable. Noise Cancelling: the best I have experienced with ear bud system. Adjustable for low/med/high depending on your need, and sometimes the low setting is enough to let me focus on the music and save some battery life. Battery: easily 6-8 hours of constant use for music or audiobooks, and you can get several more hours with a quick 15 minute charge if you need to top off the batteries. In a pinch, you can connect to phone with the 3.5mm headphone jack and keep on going for as long as you like. Connectivity: quick pairing with multiple devices. If you get the button presses right, you can switch back and forth between laptop and phone very quickly. Sound Quality: this is where I wondered if Plantronics could match up with the more well-known music earbuds, and was pleased by the quality of the sound. Not a "big bass" sound, as others are pushing that type of product, but nicely rounded sound with good bass, middle, and treble. I'm the first to say I am not an audiophile, but for the price point the sound from the Plantronics is as good as anything else I have tried, maybe a little better with the noise canceling feature. "Smart Magnet" feature: when not in use, you can 'click' the earbuds together magnetically and this will shut them off to save the battery. Maybe not the best idea if you are using them to catch incoming phone calls, but you can catch the call by popping the buds apart and they very quickly re-connect and start working normally. Extras: nice carrying pouch and stylish appearance.

These headphones are not the best for noise canceling but for the price and portability, they are more than worth it.

Not practical and doesn't deliver. Pay more and get something better.

Purchased as a gift because they were noise canceling, but didn’t keep because he could not use them at work.

I'm not sure how these perform for an Android user, but these were absolutely awful for my MacBook Pro and iPhone. For my MacBook Pro, there were several times watching YouTube videos and Netflix that a LOUD static would suddenly appear. Apparently this isn't uncommon for Plantronics devices---a simple google search showed the issue is present on some of their other headphones. For my iPhone, no one could hear me on calls. This was not due to the microphone rubbing against my clothes on the neck (which is a poor design IMO). Even holding the mic still I got constant complains with my co-workers not being able to hear me. When I popped in my AirPods - "Oh that's MUCH BETTER". I wanted to like this product, as it was a great value and, unlike the AirPods, you can workout in them, however I cannot recommend them. Very disappointed---even at the sale price.
