At times, it’s ear piercing loud even with the volume all the way down. Will look for other brands.

Posted .Hello and thank you for your honest review! The Explorer 505 provides noise reduction on your side, however, it cannot control the noise that is being sent by the other caller. Still, it should not produce any piercing noises, please try the following: unpairing the headset from your phone and re-pairing it, if possible, test a different phone as well just to make sure. If you continue to experience difficulties, please don't hesitate to contact Plantronics Customer Care at 855-765-7878, additionally, you have a 1 year warranty from the purchase date, if needed.

I Bought It For My Husband For When He's On His Harley. He Can't Hear Anything And It Is Uncomfortable So I Tried It Same Thing And It Cost Me $60 Bucks Don't Buy It Plus The Button Is Hard To Push To Answer Or Make Calls.
