It’s ok I thought it would be better

Noise cancellation doesn’t exist. The charging outlet that “clips Bluetooth at my convenience” male outlet broke. The Bluetooth is supposed to read name out loud when person is calling and for some reason it doesn’t. I’ve tried everything.

I gave this to my niece for the holidays. It's perfect because she's of driving age, so she can talk hands-free in the car.

Poor fit. I could not hear a thing on full volume. I am looking for a replacement for my Motorola Boom that broke. Saw this was new, but the unit did not work well with my ear.

    Constantly disconnecting and reconnecting!

This thing started out pretty good, then after a month or so it began “disconnecting” and “connecting”. Seemed to start that after wearing it for a few hours. However, it has only gotten worse. Now doing it almost immediately and during a call. Avoid this brand/model. This is the second out of two Plantronic devices that are unacceptable.

Thank you for your honest review on our Explorer 505 Headset. We're sorry to hear you've had a linking issue with your unit. You might want to try resetting the connection between your phone and headset to clear the Bluetooth stack. To do so: https://goo.gl/aahurH
You might also want to make sure of routing call audio to Bluetooth. To do so you can go to settings>General>accessibility>call audio routing>Bluetooth. Lastly, testing your headset with a different phone while connected to a single device at a given time is ideal in order to isolate the cause of the problem. In case you get the same results, please note this unit does have a one-year warranty from date of purchase. An Honest Review: Not the one for me

I lost my old bluetooth (Plantronics - M95 Bluetooth Headset) & had to get another hands free device. (Bought in March 2016) This bluetooth was $10 more expensive than my last one, has very poor voice quality, very short range, drops calls often and/or defaults back to your cell. It has only 7 hours max battery time which doesn't matter because it drains your cell battery completely even when idle. (Allow about 2 1/2 hours actual talk time) There's a 2 sec notification delay when your cell rings. I have an iphone 6 & SIRI can't understand any command coming from this headpiece. The black matt finish shows every scratch & scrape & always looks dirty. I ignored previous bad reviews because of the overall good ones... so if you do decide to get this bluetooth anyway, buy the replacement warrantee too. I'm so glad I did because I can swap it out for any bluetooth I want (equal or lesser value of course)

Sorry to hear you experienced issues with this product.

Short range, high battery drain when idle and poor audio quality are indications of a defective unit, especially if this happens on a brand new unit out of the box. Usually we can troubleshoot these issues by deleting your headset from your phone, restarting your phone and then re pairing them. If the problem persists even then we recommend replacing the item.

If you need troubleshooting assistance we will be glad to help at www.plantronics.com/support Plantronics

That may be an issue with the headset or with the connection between the headset and phone. You might want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection between your phone and headset to see if that helps the issue.

      To do so:
      1. Delete the headset from your cell phone's list of paired devices.
      2. Once deleted, power your phone completely off, then power it back on. This resets the Bluetooth stack in the Bluetooth software on the phone.
      3. Re-pair the headset with your phone and test.

If the issue is the same we recommend testing the device with another phone to determine if its on the phone or headset. If the issue persists even on a different phone we can replace that device, it comes with a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase. You can use the following url to view our replacement steps:

I couldn't text or make calls or use any other features, I took it back to Best Buy twice, both times they were unable to get it to work, so I retuned it. I'm going to look for something else.
