I can't get the mic to increase volume. Need external

It feels weird when I wear these headphones, I expected better quality microphone, and way better and loud sound compare what I get. They are not too bad, but not worth their price for sure. I wish I could return them, but it over 15 days.

Nice enough headset . Decent sound quality but a little pricey for the overall quality , but isn't everything these days .

these head sets were great for what i used them for which is gaming

This set reviewed good, they look good in the package and even setup in minute's. However, no matter how hi you crank the inline, windows, or equalizer volume, you will not get what you expect when used as usb. The usb sound card is the bad part here, the headphones plugged into your normal sound card is great and very loud. I returned these for a more known gaming set and had some of the same issues, except they have a patch out to fix it.

Mic is very faint, audio is horrible. Every time I moved, the audio cut out. Software did not work.

Works good enough. Just using for chatting online.

Not much to say really. Headset is comfortable. It's pretty snug so it doesn't start sliding off in the middle of an intense game. Sound is excellent. It's also great at blocking out other noise (which makes it hard to hear when I'm being called to dinner). I haven't tried the mic out yet, but that'll come eventually. Looks awesome too. Even though it's a large headset it looks relatively low-profile I think.

The sound is BOOMING and setup was a breeze. The mic receives clear and clean, even with the air conditioner running in the background. No muffling or distortion. The interface is simple and effective -all you really do is select the mode (Gaming/Movie or Music) and turn the Dolby 7.1 on or off. No fancy EQ or voice modulator with the stock setup but I don't need that to game. They are a little uncomfortable but that may be a blessing in disguise. Otherwise I might never wanna take them off! Great headset. I hope to have these for many years to come.

I bought this headset to replace a pair of Sennheiser 780's that wore out too quickly. I had a clip-on mic that worked well but wanted an integrated solution. I am using an onboard Realtek sound card on my system and wanted 7.1 sound without having to break the bank. Although this Plantronics headset uses simulated 7.1 it transformed my gaming experience in Battlefield 4. The sound is so rich and deep it is like playing a new game all over again. The guns and explosions sound more realistic and I really feel like this headset has given me a more immersive experience. I can hear footsteps and pinpoint enemy locations better than ever! The mic quality seems to be good as well. As far as comfort I think these are on par with the Sennheisers which were very comfortable for long periods of gaming. I haven't felt they needed any break-in period as others have stated. The ear cups won't block out all the sound if the room you are playing in has lots of background noise, but I found they were good enough that it didn't interfere with my gaming session. I have not noticed any bleed over of sound when using the mic either. For the price these cannot be beat!

I've had this headset for about 3 or 4 months now and it has amazing quality. It makes me wonder why I never had a headset prior to this. The only issue I've ran into was my own fault. I ended up breaking the plastic coupler on the right side, but with the alignment arrows and super glue, I was able to make it good as new. Haven't had any other issues and would and have been recommending to everybody I know

Great headphones for gaming. The headphones provide great crystal clear sound and they do have doulby subwoofers(surround sound) in them which i did not see on the box, but I was in a hurry. The microphone is on the shorter side so you do have to speak loader then usual. They are very sturdy and built with better quality materials then turtle beach in my opinion. Overall these are the great.

I just bought this headset. I've actually been in need of a new one, and happened to come across this on the shelf in my local store. I'm a big fan! The headset is at a reasonable price compared to other products, and it's really comfortable. The League of Legends skin is definitely a bonus!

I wasn't sure what sort of headset I was going to get when I walked into Best Buy. The GameCom 780 was priced right in my price range so I gave it a try. I couldn't be happier as it is so comfortable after wearing it for hours there is no fatigue of my ears and the sound range is fantastic, I can't believe the sound that comes out of this headset. Such an amazing value as I recommend the GameComm 780 to anyone that enjoys gaming as it opens up an entire new gaming experience.

The Plantronics GameCom 780's are a great buy for the price. Other gaming headsets with 7.1 Surround sound are above 100 dollars. Feels one hundred times better than my old Turtle Beach's.
