Multiple ear pieces that all hurt to wear. I wouldn't buy another one

When I first paired the unit, it had no static on it. But from the first call, and on from there every time I got a call or made a call, it had a low static in the background that was maddening and made conversation difficult.

Earpiece echoes from time to time but overall a decent product.

Does not work the best and the voice answer works even worse.

Works fine for the amount of time I spend on my cell phone

Not very comfortable and does not do what my old one did.

My Plantronics Discovery 925 broke after 4+ years of regular daily use. After reading a few reviews I decided to try the Plantronics Marque 2 M165. The headset is lightweight, but doesn't feel cheap. The M165 fits my ear snuggly but comfortably using the medium eartip, staying in place without the need for the included earhook. There are voice prompts that walk you through the initial pairing. The M165 also provides status info via audio when the M165 is powered on - specifying power status, remaining talk time, and connection status. Call audio quality is very good, although not as good as the Discovery 925. Battery life is very good, lasting noticeably longer than my Discovery 925 did. The multipoint functionality works fine, with no problems connecting to two devices. Audio streaming capability is very good, with good sound quality. I've paired it with my iPhone, iPod, iPad, and Windows laptop and streamed a variety of audio from each with consistently good sound quality. The voice answer feature has been spotty, not working more often than working. When paired to my iPhone all audio alert tones are heard through the earpiece, not from the device - except for ringtones. The M165 plays a default tone alerting of an incoming call and the ringtone plays on my iPhone. The Discovery 925 would play my ringtone through the earpiece, even when the iPhone was set to silent. This was a nice feature that I wish was available on the M165. All in all, a solid device and a great value for the price. Best Buy price matched Amazon with no problem.

I really enjoy this product. It is small and easy to use. The instructions for set-up are fairly simple to follow, although I did set it up for my 60 yr old mother, who just didn't want to bother and found it just too tedious. She has since used it with no problems. There is also an optional clip-on ear loop and multiple ear tip sizes in the packaged box. The ear loop does make the device more stable and secure on the ear but is cumbersome and not as convenient. The volume control is only a button that when pushed cycles louder until the maximum volume is reached then starts over at the lowest volume. I would have liked a way to either increase or decrease rather than having to cycle and continually pushing the button until my preferred volume is reached. Finally the audio and microphone quality is outstanding and the headset charges fairly quickly. It says it gets a full charge in 2 hrs. It also comes with a partial charge straight out of the box. When turning it on, the device will give an approximation as to how much of the battery juice is left. For example it will say, "Talk-time: 7 hrs" or "Talk-time: 2 hrs"

The battery life on this item is to short! I bought 1 previously for $40 and that 1 had up to 4 more hours, this 1 has to be charged daily! My previous one would last up to a week before I charged it!

For some reason this particular Bluetooth gives a lot of feedback or you can hear yourself talking back in it. Which is unlike Plantronic bluetooths we've purchased in the past.

Unfortunately I returned this product. The background noise was enhanced and greatly annoyed those I spoke with on the headset.

It needs to be improved for distance and head set stop going in and out saying bluetooth disconnected and your are right by it

I was very excited to purchase this headset because I read so many great reviews about it. The clarity and quality of both the mic and speaker didn't disappoint. But after two weeks of use, the volume/mute button popped off, and I haven't been able to do anything with it since. I'm returning it to the store tomorrow to see if I can get a replacement or refund, and hope this time was a fluke.

Everyone says I sound like I'm in a tunnel. I generally gave to turn it off. Is there a good blue tooth out there?

I do not recommend this item. The fit is uncomfortable and the sound quality is lacking.
