This is my second pair of 800LX SE. I love how light weight, durable, and confortable they are. Initial battery life is amazing. The sad thing is after a few months it went from high batter to needing to recharge in less than 2 hours. This happened with my first pair after about 4 months and is happening again with this pair after about 5 months. Will be returning and getting a different headset.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on our RIG 800LX Headset. We're truly sorry to hear you've had charging issues with your unit. Please try using a different micro-USB cable and AC power adapter to isolate the cause of the issue. If you still get the same results, then most likely the unit has a problem related to the warranty and it is best to replace it. This model comes with a one-year warranty from date of purchase. Here you will find some tips you should take into account to extend the battery life of our products: https://goo.gl/V5xD4Q. We thank you for bringing this to our attention. I’m really happy with these wireless headphones . They work amazing and also the shipping came pretty quick. Even with the coronavirus going on. Still came on time like they said they would. Although they should of package the item a little bit better but thankfully nothing got damaged. Not even the box so turn out just fine. These headphones are light and have really good sound quality. Can’t beat Dolby can’t beat the price . I’m really happy with this product.

Sure it doesn't have neon colors or RGB, but the sound and comfort are awesome. Dolby Atmos is amazing for the few games it supports.

Definitely one of the best gaming headsets I've ever used.
It's comfortable, the sound is phenomenal, overall build is top tier.
If you're looking to stream, IDK if I would recommend these, being that there is no audio out features on these headphones.
But if you're looking to become immersed in the game, I would definitely get these.

This headset is really nice. I used the card to turn on the Dolby on the xbox and it helps me figure out where the sound is coming from even though it's not a true surround sound. The battery life is amazing and the microphone is very nice. Lift up for mute so you always know if you're on mute or active. You can also play with it while charging provided you have a long enough USB cable but since the battery is so good, you probably won't need to. I'm super happy with it and have been using it for months.

Pinpoint accuracy when trying to identify enemies. The headphones pair with the Xbox One X flawlessly. I originally had the Rig 500 but wanted to go wireless. I pulled the trigger, when the Rig 800LX went on sale for $99. The sound quality is awesome on both the Rig headsets. I previously had Astro A50s and while their sound quality was slightly better (the bass is amazing on the Astros), I had nothing but issues with them. The Astros microphone quit transmitting sound. I could hear everyone else, yet no one could hear me. I returned them six times to Astro, and the new replacement headsets ALL had mic issues after working properly for only a week or two. Their final solution was to offer the lesser Astro A40s which are wired. These worked fine for a year (sans wireless) and then they too started having issues. After sending the A40's back for one replacement, and having that replacement quit working after a few months I have given up on Astro headsets. I have only had the Rig 800s for a month but so far they are flawless. Fingers crossed that they keep working well. The only issue is have is that I must unplug the wireless unit from my Xbox to get Atmos surround sound back to my home theater receiver. It's a small nuisance for such amazing spatial sound quality for these gaming headsets. Hopefully they issue a patch for this issue.

First I will get into my complaints that prevent these headphones from getting 5 stars. The last two sets of headphones (Turtle Beach Stealth 800's and Astro A50's) I've had had charging docks after having a dock for so long it is disappointing not to have one. With that said there is no excuse for not having a USB C connection for chagrining. The old USB type plugs suck and need to go away now.
As for everything else I love these headphones, they can get a little hot maybe hotter than my A50's but it's tough to tell. They are certainly no where near as hot at the Stealth 800's. I've seen complaints about ambient noise in videos on YouTube, I've asked the people that I game with if this is problem and none of them have issues with it. Two days after I got them my puppy took them off the ottoman and ran out the dog door with them. He was running around in the snow thrashing the heck out of them and didn't want to give them back. I thought for sure they were going to be dead, they were full of snow when I got them back one of the ear pads was off (which isn't very easy to get back on). I left them on the mantel to dry for several hours and they worked like nothing had happened. This is my 5th set of headphones, I've paid much more for much less quality and durability. If these break I'm heading right down to the store to get another set.

I absolutely love these headphones. Very light compared to steelseries and turtle beach. Easy to plug in and pair with my xbox one and downloading the dolby app to go with. High quality sound and I can walk a considerable distance from my console without any cutout from friends or game volume. Can't wait to see whats next from Plantronics and their Rig headset line. I use the largest setting for the headset but still gets a little *head squished* feeling after long sessions.

I love this headset so much that i drove 40 minutes to find another one when my dog chewed it up. Great sound, comfortable. You do get some feedback of your own voice through the mike. Nothing agregious but you notice. They are NOT noise cancelling. But they do buffer outside sounds and are clear and loud enought that they dont need to be. I work from home and have 4-8 kids here everyday. I never have a problem hearing.

Good quality headset. I've had this particular headset for a little over two years now. I like the comfort it provides, and quality audio is a plus. My friends can hear me clearly and I can change game audio/chat mix with a rotate of a dial on the headset with ease. I would buy again.

The headphones work and sound great. The price isnt bad for the quality of headphones. The charge so far lasts pretty long. The only two downsides to these headphones are the mic, which arent all that great, sounds kinda cheap my friends tell me. Then the second is the charger cable it comes with. Takes way to long to charge with the one they give you. I use my galaxy s6 charger cable i had and it charged fully in about 20mins so no worries.
