This headset was given as a Christmas present. My grandson loves this gaming headset. He loves the Dolby sound. He says it's one of the best presents that he received this year. The price was reasonable and the quality was great.

I purchased this headset and after a month or so of owning it I've had to re insert the ear cup as it falls off. It's annoying to fix and its annoying to have happen. Its loud, I hear footsteps on PubG and call of duty. I like the 3d sound it provides which is why Iwas willing to try and fix the headset myself. So I did. Let's hope it stays together. 3 out of 5 stars Sound is good Mic has to always be pushed in to talk. The flip up mute is cool and I like the beeps letting you know you are muted. For 150.00 USD you would hop the ear cup would not seperate from the speaker portion.

This work a lot better than I expected. I've always used Turtle Beach but I have to say that I'm really impressed by the quality of sound these have. I was amazed how much more I'm hearing when playing my games now.

Best headset I’ve owned ... the Doly Atmos Really rocks I find myself using these for movie as well as games. The low end drivers seem to max out after about 70 volume wish you could use a digital mixer online for these to make simple adjustments

It allows to you to easily switch between players, allows you to adjust sound for both players as well as game, good at blocking out sound and they are comfortable. Good sound quality. Would definitely recommend.

These things are the bomb. Super lightweight, very loud and great functionality. Also comes with free two-year subscription to Dolby Atmos. If you’re on the fence about these, don’t be.

This headset is really good the only reason I didn't put a 5 star is because it is hard to find a good volume for your game and your friends at the same time if you know what I mean But overall they are some really good headsets

My son loves the Rig’s 800 LX headset! Great features: light weight, portability, no wires, toggle up for mute, clarity, simulated surround sound and much more. It’s not as loud and rich as his Astro’s or Titan’s but he still loves em.

I absolutely love this headset, I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s lightweight, easily adjusted, multiple EQ settings to enhance different game aspects to really focus on the finer details, especially in multiplayer games where it can really matter.

Perfect headset for gaming the fact that it has noise canceling mic and blocks out the sound from the background is amazing. If you have the money to spend on a great headset this is the one to get.

Easily the best mid range headset available for the Xbox one. Easy to set up and connect, well build, and Very comfortable. Price is a bit high compared to other mid range units but the quality is top notch.

This headset is an amazing value. I have a Turtle Beach 500X and an Astro A50. The A50 has always been problematic. Build quality is great on the Astro, but it just doesn't work well with the Xbox and the wired chat cable is annoying. The A50 IS comfy, though, and that's why it used to be my primary gaming set. The TB 500X is a great headset for the money, but the ear cups are too small, the audio imaging lacks "beauty" and the construction feels cheap. Enter the Rig 800 LX. It brings the comfort of the A50 (and it's lighter!), better imaging and audio than either aforementioned headset, fully wireless chat functionality with Xbox One, and it's cheaper than BOTH of the previous sets I mentioned. The Dolby Atmos for headphones certificate is icing on the cake. I can't rate this headset high enough. Even if it was $200 I'd pick it up.

A Severe Downgrade Over Wired Versions

It's hard to put into words what this headset has done to me. Simply put, I am very disappointed that I wasted my time and money to pick this particular unit up given how much I preferred the wired version of these headsets. I purchased these under the pretext that the quality of sound being received and sent would be the same if not better to the RIG 400's which was my previous headset. While the quality coming in was acceptable, the ear cupping made it impossible to hear around myself without taking them off which means I cannot use my theatre surround sound for gaming. When I enabled the included Dolby Atmos 3D surround for the headset to circumvent this, I found the lag in audio from console to headset to be off by a few seconds, completely ruining the feel for any game requiring sound and audio cues to play. Worse though was talking to other people who recorded and noted that my audio quality was severely degraded and they could no longer hear me. Even after adjustments, the issues did not resolve themselves. Swapping between this unit and my prior wired version was jarring in the difference of quality. I don't recommend this headset to anyone who isn't strictly using them in conjunction with a PC for video-chatting as every other device it can attach seems to have issues with quality or connection. I plan on returning this pair and purchasing a newer wired version as those have never given me issues beyond wear and tear. Sav yourself the money and buy the cheaper wired RIG's, your wallet and ears will thank you.

We apologize you did not have the experience you expected from the RIG 800LX Xbox wireless gaming headset. The earcup design on the RIG 800 series was designed to isolate the gamer from surrounding noise. It was not developed as an open-ear design to hear your surroundings. As for lag with Dolby Atmos, the RIG 800LX transmits over 2.4 GHz RF wireless and so there should be little to no lag unless possibly the use of Dolby Atmos was creating too much burden on the PC processing power. And regarding the microphone quality, that is not normal performance. If you would like to contact Customer Support, you can reach them via email at [email protected]. Thank you nacon-fr

I've purchased this twice. One for me and one for my son. Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Very immersive sound in games you can hear if something is going on in all direction.
