I've always had the Jabra $99.00 stealth headset and I was happy with them too. The only complaint I had with the Jabra was that it had voice answer function which means, you say answer to the head set and it would answer. The problem was it would answer on its own even if you don't say anything. If the Jabra was in your pocket, it would answer. I bought these because I lost my Jabra and they were out of stock. I would definitely buy these again if needed another headset.

Lots of complaints about the back ground noise coming in louder than my talking- this product was recommended by a coworker as “perfect “ but sadly I have not experienced that with mine

There are a few things we can try in order to troubleshoot it. Firstly, please ensure your unit's Firmware is up to date by checking for updates and applying any (if available) through Plantronics Hub for Desktop: https://goo.gl/5ceQ1v. You might also want to reset the Bluetooth connection: https://goo.gl/emzUTA. In order to re-pair your headset, please make sure the unit is in pairing mode: with your unit powered on, press and hold the call button for 6 or 8 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue repeatedly. Once this is done, your unit should be visible under Bluetooth settings on the phone. Lastly, testing your headset with different phones and also at different locations and while connected to a single device at a given time is ideal in order to isolate the cause of the problem. In case you get the same results, please note that this unit has a one-year limited warranty from date of purchase. So I bought the newer model. It is still good, technically works well. My problem is the plastic loop that holds it in my ear. The last one was stiffer. I could wear it all day and it wouldn't budge. This one is softer and doesn't hold the headset in place. So it keeps falling out of my ear.
