Husband struggles with headset

He cannot get the headset to connect sometimes and it drops calls or will not answer with voice commands. He is not impressed at all. I was very disappointed with his previous Plantronics experience being very good and all the good reviews on this product.

Posted .That may be an issue with the headset or with the connection between the headset and phone. You might want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection between your phone and headset to see if that helps the issue.
To do so:
1. Delete the headset from your cell phone's list of paired devices.
2. Once deleted, power your phone completely off, then power it back on. This resets the Bluetooth stack in the Bluetooth software on the phone.
3. Re-pair the headset with your phone and test.
If the issue is the same we recommend testing the device with another phone to determine if it's on the phone or headset. If the issue persists even on a different phone we can replace that device, it comes with a 1 year warranty. I have had other Plantronics as well as other brands over the years. The mic on this one works well and clients can hear me clearly. I would recommend it over the other brands

Great reception and clarity. Standby charge not as good as others (5-6 hrs), but trade-off for reception/clarity is more than worth it.

Also as for the battery much like the rest of the Bluetooth headsets I've had it doesn't last as long as advertised. It also has a bit of an echo to it in comparison to my other headsets. Not a big fan of this item

Posted .Thank you for your honest review on our Voyager Edge Bluetooth headset. The earloop that goes over the ear is optional and if you find it uncomfortable we recommend that you try wearing the headset on your other ear, or without the ear loop.
The battery life on this model is up to 6 hours of talk time, if you're getting considerably lower talk time you might want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection between your phone and headset to see if that helps the issue. To do so:
