Great BT headset with iphone 4s
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The design is dated and bulky looking but it is very light and comfortable for hours of use at a time. I rarely wear it in public except in the car so not a big deal for my use. If I planned to wear it in public more like some do... I would look for something more stylish perhaps, or smaller if I had long hair to completely hide it, but I think they all look a bit ridiculous in public so I take it off when I leave the car. I find that people talking loudly in public on their phones or checking text messages continuously to be very disrespectful of those around them ... I try not to be that way. Cack to the review...sometimes I have to feel for it to see if I am wearing it. Call quality is very good but not great. I don't think any are great but I have heard some poor calls directly from newer cell phones so my expectations aren't very high of the industry in general. No one has ever asked if I am on a headset or couldn't understand me and I hear them fine so good enough and better than most for a small headset. Noise cancellation is also very good. I tested by leaving a message on my own voice mail while driving with windows down and radio on and it was great except the seat belt warning beep was easily heard. I like that it will announce calls and you can ignore or answer them by saying ignore or answer. The magnetic charging cable works great but I understand that if lost or forgotten at home that would be a pain for some and it really could have a longer wire but for me it works fine. It seems like a small inconvenience for some to complain about and magnetic charging cables seem to be easy to use and popular. I work from a home office most of the time so again, not an issue for me. I bought the charging case because I thought it would make charging easier based on reviews I read and I never use it. It takes more time to fold the phone flat, put the phone in it its fitted indentation, and then fold the phone back out again... then to just use the charging cable. If traveling all the time and on the phone all day I think it would be great to have the case for recharging on the go and to protect the headset when put in a pocket but it is hard and bulky and you still need to recharge it too at times. I would consider getting a second headset with a second charging cable if I used it that often while on the go. I typically just put the headset in my jacket pocket by itself and so far no damage. This is about my fourth headset over the last 20 years and I would buy it again. In fact I am getting one for a friend as a bday gift.

Posted .Hello- I'm sorry that you are having a bad experience with your Voyager Legend. Updating the firmware on the headset might help (http://www.plantronics.com/us/support/myheadset/updater). After updating, you will want to reset the connection between your phone and the headset. To do this, first delete the headset from your cell phone's list of paired devices. Once deleted, make sure to power your phone completely off. Then power it back on. (This will reset the Bluetooth stack in the BT software on the phone). Then re-pair the headset with your phone.
If the issue continues please contact Plantronics Technical Support directly (http://www.plantronics.com/support/) and we will be happy to help.

Great headset. Proprietary charger.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this headset to use with my Galaxy S III and it has been amazing. The sound quality is outstanding, the level of comfort I get out of it is great considering it's in my head for at least six hours a day. Has about a seven hour battery for talk time but I haven't even charged it for the past three days. The only complaint out have that doesn't let this be a five start headset is the charger. It's some magnetic proprietary charger that has like a six inch cable so if you want to charge this, I'd try a counter or end table. I had to stack books to get it to charge next to my bed but it works well now and if you want a car charger for this, it's a solid thirty bucks on the Plantronics website.

Great call quality but voice commands are no good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good bluetooth headset but the voice commands are very poor. The fit of the headset is very good and comfortable although the fit of the inner ear piece could be a little better. Battery life was great even with a lot of use. I really liked this headset until I tried to use the voice commands. I wanted to dial a number by speaking it and couldn't. For instance with the jawbone I had I could hold the call button and activate Siri and just tell her what to do. You cannot do this with this headset which is plantronics way to get you to use Vocalist which is their voice command service that you have to pay for. I then decide to give Vocalist a chance but I couldn't believe you had to call the vocalist just to use it. Siri works MUCH better than their vocalist garbage. This would be a great headset if I could just use Siri for my commands. I would only buy this if you don't use voice commands on your phone.

A worthy headset with lots of features.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset boast lots of features, most of which I don't use. I bought it for the comfort and utility. I hate those headsets that stick in your ear with only a clip because they don't stay in long and are a hassle to wear. I can wear this headset all day and half the time I forget that it's in my ear until I get an alert or a call. It has great build quality and feel. Also, there are dedicated mute, answer/end, volume, and power switches. Talk time is about average for me. 1. Clarity: Everyone I talk to can hear me loud and clear, even when I'm in the car with road/cabin noise or outside in the elements. 2. Voice prompts: The headset talks to you and gives useful information like caller ID, battery status, and connection status. The latter comes in handy for when you walk too far from the phone. You can interact with it by instructing it to answer or ignore calls for you. 3. Gestures: If you pick up the headset while the phone rings it will answer the call. If you put down the headset while on the phone, it will mute the mic for you. If you put the headset down and pick up your phone to talk it will switch to the handset and vice versa. Some have complained that these features don't work well, but for me and my HTC One, they work as designed. I'm spoiled by them. The gripes: 1. Not nearly loud enough because; A) the volume just doesn't play that loud to me, B) The tip doesn't seat in the ear tight enough to seal out noise. The loudness wouldn't be an issue if the earpiece seated snug in the ear like an earbud does. There are various tips to toy around with but still... 2. That freakin' charger! Why!? Just..., why? All summed up. I would definitely recommend this unit, if you have the cash. It is worth it.

Great for listening to music
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used this for about a month now and this is not a dependable product. There are times where it works great and we can hear each other clearly. There are times where the person on the other end can't hear me at all. It's frustrating. It's always charged. So, I use it to listen to music or watch movies. If I have to take a call and I have it on, I'll use it. If the other person can hear me, great. If not, I rip it off my ear and pick up the phone. I love that when a phone call comes in it give me the option to answer or ignore. It fits nicely on the ear and is comfortable. The sound quality is great. If only the other person could hear me consistently. On a full charge it can last 7 hours and it's a plus that the phone states so when you put it on. It also auto shuts off when you take it off and turns back on when you put it back on. Cool. In all the years I've used bluetooth earpieces, I have yet to find one that is dependable enough to trust. Till then, I will continue to use hardwired earpieces for long phone conversations.

Great Headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been through many different types of headsets and Bluetooth devices, and this one is by far the best. In my experience, headsets with a boom mic are the way to go. The ones that rest on your ear seem to not have enough microphone to sample the area. If you are looking for a new headset, I would look no further. Note: I never buy extended warranty's or add on protection, but Best Buys black tie replacement is worth the extra $15 for a Bluetooth (2 years of no matter what replacement on an item like this will probably be used#. Batteries go weak, you drop it in a puddle, etc. As long as you can bring it in, they will replace it #no questions asked usually).

Best Bluetooth Headset I Have Found Yet!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read the reviews before I purchased this brilliant piece of electronics, and I must say, right off the bat: battery life is good, about 6-7 hrs. Charge time is roughly 1.5-1.45 hrs. Comfort is superb; no ear ache, or annoying creepy feel on my ear. Quality appearance to all components in the box, and guess what? Works as advertised. I have had NO problems connecting or staying connected to my iPhone 5. 'Nough said.

Works Great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is simply the best bluetooth headset I have ever owned and I have owned many over the years. I love the fact that it tells you who is calling and that you can answer the call by simply saying the word "answer". Battery life is awesome, it easily lasts me about 4 days. Very comfortable in the ear and you can't even tell its there even after a few hours. So far so good, I hope this one will last me a long time cause I LOVE IT!

Good but doesn't age well
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would recommend this with the geek squad protection. It works great for a while and then has issues: Wireless connection: Over time the bluetooth connection drops from the phone in the middle of conversations even when the phone is 2 feet away, so you have to pick up the phone right away. (This negates the purpose of the headset!) Charging--earpiece has to be held to the charger with tape or rubberband after awhile in order for connection to stay good enough to charge. I am on the third one of these within two years. I bought the headset the first time with geek squad protection ($15 for 2 years). Both times when I have had troubles with the bluetooth connection dropping or call quality even when the phone is close they have replaced it for me without any hassle. This time I purchased another 2 years of protection as I figure it will be cheaper than buying a brand new headset in another year.

Love this headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love it. Sounds good, loud enough, clear, comfortable. And the other person can hear me without having to cup my hand or yell. The noise cancelling is excellent too. No wind noise is picked up. Once I was trying to get a tractor engine started I was talking to someone helping me. It started finally and he says "well? Did it start??" I'm like "It's rumbling loud, you can't hear that?" He says "no, wow, that's great noise cancelling". It supports HD audio with my S5. I had to update the firmware and enable it on the headset. The call quality is better than being next to the person. High frequencies that normal calls don't have are there. This sounds like a sales pitch for sure but it is that good. I've gone through enough of these things over the years. This is the best yet. As far as comfort, I have large ears and the top of my ear tends to get sore after awhile. But I'm on my 3rd version of this headset and this one fits well for some reason. Prior 2 were dog chew toys or didn't survive the washing machine. Maybe the right earbud size this time? The range is excellent with my Samsung S5. Works great with audio books and Google maps driving directions.

Fantastic sound quality, you can wear all day long
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great professional bluetooth headset that you can wear all day long and does not hurt your ear, have fantastic sound and microphone pickups. I use this all day long at work and does not bother me at all. I like how it pairs to my cell phone, my Macbook Pro and my desk phone and will switch to the source of the incoming call. This headset is going to be use in our call center for unified communications when that unit comes out in January.

Noise cancelling and better than previous versions
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had Voyagers before but they had problems with sweat and charging. This solves both problems. Magnetic charger is NOT USB Micro and does not fail due to fragility. Noise cancelling works great. Also better fit than previous versions and controls are on boom. No more hanging up accidentally when I push it further into my ear.

Good Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lasted about 2 years, not bad. Worked great and like how comfortable it is since I have it on all day 6 days a week. The warranty is great too. Had to replace due to manufacture defect, but that process was great. Went ahead and bought another one of these to replace the first one.
