A: I use my Plantronics Voyager Legend Bluetooth headset all the time while wearing my glasses or sunglasses. You need to make sure the earpiece is firmly at your ear for good sound quality but the glasses cause no problem!
A: As with all earpieces, any radiation style signals received by the phone are not transmitted to the earpiece. Instead, the earpiece receives a bluetooth signal from the phone that is simply a radio wave. Radio waves are in the air all around us and are not harmful unless you are next to a high power transmitter. There is no danger in using an earpiece such as the Voyager Legend.
Q: will the 87001 tell you the phone number for incoming calls
A: You can program it for the name or number of the caller, also you can also get it to answer automatically in 2 second or en or more. The longer the time the more information you receive on the caller. You can also except or ignore the caller with a longer wait time.
A: It can be worn on either ear. Just flip the thingy and adjust the do dah.
Q: Will this work with an iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6+?
A: Yes it will. I pair it all the time between my ipad's and iphone, or even my work LG G2.
A: The older ones didn't use the magnetic charger. I felt the same, but theres an option you can buy for $30 that is a hard case with built in battery that recharges the headset when not in use. It uses the magnetic lock to hold the headset in place. The case is also small enough to slip into your pocket... It has a wonderful feature of two flashing LEDs that indicate case charge and headset charge. For me, that totally justified the magnetic charging system. Give it a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
A: I think you need the PLT Legend UC B235 version - it comes with Bluetooth mini USB adapter for connecting to PC. I upgraded to the UC version myself; I use it mostly with my phone, but the charging case and charging dock are nice to have.
A: Yes, it announces the callers name when the phone rings if the caller is in your contacts; if not, it states you have an "incoming call."
