Bought this hoping my best half and I could enjoy some gaming but the co-op appears to be a mindless shoot em up fest.

I bought this game based off of game play footage from the beta and the intro video. I am actually really pleasantly surprised with how much enjoyment I've got out of playing this game. There are a lot of game mode types in which to enjoy different play styles. Unlocking characters is fun though at times a little tedious - I wish they had more variety of packs for non-rare to super rare characters or included some consumables in the highest priced pack with the character pieces. The game modes are as follows: Garden ops/zombie ops - you can play both factions coop with 4 players Story quests - both factions Infinity mode - end fun mode with large animal robots and gnomes. PVP - with many different game modes Endless waves at the flag of power. - this mode would be more fun if there was higher multipliers and more coins for this game type so that you could level your characters with friends a little easier while not sinking way too many hours into the game. People said during the beta the multipliers remained from normal quests which I wish were still the case or at least 1x exp and normal money. So far I have been getting more enjoyment out of the playability of this game than FarCry Primal. Farcry is a bit more repetitive and doesn't have split screen for my wife and I to enjoy together. The split screen is a little too limited though. Why can't we play online with other people or do quests together? Overall I would give it 5 stars because it is a great fun game with lots of options for fun game types with friends of all ages.

I bought this game because I love the original Plants versus Zombies pc, mobile, etc Couldn’t get into it

It doesn't come with directions and it says it's can have more than one player

My son loves this game from playing it on other platforms, but this was unplayable for me on xbone. The game would not play unless it connected to the ea servers, not even in offline mode. I called tech support for Microsoft and for ea, neither could get me on their servers or get the game to play without doing so.

Played it a bit then ran into an issue trying 2 player. Couldn’t solve. Now it’s a coaster

I expected the game to be similar to the the app on my I phone, but it is not

I bought this for my son who loves the app. There is no instruction on how to play which makes it difficult to know what to do.

not happy that you need to have Xbox gold live in order to play game. will check games better on next purchases

Having played countless hours on the original and recently playing the beta for part 2 I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for an FPS to blow off steam. It's so goofy you'll just enjoy the chaos rather become frustrated like other FPS's with super competitive communities.

I so agree with another post. The game is too busy, I can't make out the characters due to too much flashing, strobes, illumination that has no effect or benefit to a plant or a zombie. I'm having trouble finding enemies or teammates. I love the original so much....I'm not even a kid but this is the most entertaining and amazing game. All the people involved in developing this game did an awesome job. I would recommend it to a friend ONLY because I hope there are some improvements coming in the future.

If any of you are on the fence about this, thinking that it's not as fun as the original, jump over that fence! This one's great fun for all ages. Dads and Moms that like to jump in and play with their kids will have a blast with this gameplay and everything's safe for kiddies of all ages. Keep in mind, though, that online play may change things if you can hear what the other players are saying, so if you want to be perfectly safe, just disable hearing everyone's chatting. Single-player Co-Op is an excellent way to spend a rainy day or a hot day away from the pool or lake. With its new Plant and Zombie classes and engaging environments and abilities, this one comes highly recommended!

This game is fun, with more things to do than the first game. Awesome!

If youre on the fence about buying this game, then just do it. This game can entertain you and grab your attention for hours at a time. I play this game with my kids and its an easy way to bond, and also a good way to keep everyone happy and entertained!

This game has turned out to be pretty popular for my 9 and 12yr old children. If your kids are into video games and you're not a huge fan of all the normal 'battle' type games out there, this one is a great compromise!

Awesome shooter for everyone in the family of all ages. My wife and kids love this game. Fun kernel carnage against da zoombies!

My boys have played all the Plants Vs Zombies games. I Bought this for both my boys. They were so excited to get it and loved it!
