My grandson picked this out, I thought he and his sister 9 and 12 knew what they were doing, they picked a wrong type of game . Of course he open but never took out of box mom said wrong kind. Hoping I can return not sure yet :) sure it would be good if right system. :(

Game is ok was not aware that you have to have a gold subscription in order to play it online. Really sucks especially since I moved to playstation 4 recently.

You cannot play this game unless you subscribe to Xbox Live Gold membership. I spoke with EA games twice to find out that unless you pay for a subscription, you cant play the game. Very unfortunate and misleading!

This game doesn't work at all without an internet/subscription to Microsoft. Terrible game and Best Buy wouldn't exchange, credit, or take it back! Get the Xbox One version

I bought the game for my son and was never able to actually play it since it required Xbox live account.

We have spent many hours trying to get the game to work on the Xbox. At this point we need to contact the customer service department. This was a very disappointing purchase.

Bought this for my Xbox 360 but I think you can play this on the new Xbox consoles as well. You do need Xbox gold/live to play though but it's definitely worth it.

I like how it's not as easy to kill everyone, so they aren't just spawn camping you. It's so easy to buy the sticker packs. Overall, it's a fun game. (Review quoted from 11 yr old)

The game is OK once getting past the fact that XBox Live Gold is required to play even the basic game. It would not load up to play unless I added my latest Xbox Live Gold credit to my Xbox Live account. This is a stupid use of Xbox Live Gold. This game should not need internet access just to play the basic game... Must make this more clear on the label. This is probably why it was on sale.

My 9 yr old son loves the game. Since we can't play co Op together I still help with levels. Being able to upgrade to different zombies and plants is a huge plus.

This game is great. If you love online shooting games then you'll definitely love this game. It's very easy crinkly and has great, funny characters to choose from.

I bought this for my son, he was so excited for MONTHS. I pre-ordered from the Best Buy website. The picture on the webpage is fairly small, and I couldn't enlarge it. I read the description, didn't see anything too out of the ordinary, I just kind of figured it was like any other hard copy CD video game. You stick it in the XBox and it works. I guess you take that for granted. Apparently there is a little icon on the game itself (once again not visable online) that says that an Xbox Gold account it required to play it. We don't have one, and I am not going to get one for this one game. I will be trying to return it since you cannot plan without it.

I gave this game 2 stars out of respect to the original game. What it actually deserves is 1 star because the game is pointless. Even with high-speed internet, new updates for the game took over 2 hours to download. And then you have to have a Xbox Live subscription to play the game. A $20 game ends up costing over $55. Don't waste your time.
