you have to play with other players. the game is ok.

I asked a salesperson to help me find a game for my xbox 360 he said this one is awesome but he never told me I needed xbox live gold its $60 a year even to play this game so disappointed

Couldn't get it to work. First I didn't know it was online game., but I figured it would be okay. I tried connecting it to the net, but didn't work. Now it's just lying around collecting dust.

Do not buy this game. It does not work unless you want to pay a membership fee to use it. It does not specify that except for in tiny writing.

Disappointed that you can't play this game without a Gold membership on the XBox 360.

The kids were excited to get it at first. But ,unfortunately, it was an online game and they couldn't play it .So we had to return it .

Cover should have boldly said that it required Microsoft Live membership

I was unaware that it was an only online game when purchased and the wouldn't return it due to it being a "used game" purchase.

This is an online game only. If you don't have xbox live it's not worth buying

When I found out this game was for 360, I looked it up on the website and looked up the closest store's stock, I rushed over and super excited to try out the game. Finally found it in a back shelf and read the cover over finding out that its XBOX Live Gold Required. My son is an obsessed PVZ fan and was really looking forward to playing this game with me. The price was a great deal and that was all that I was looking forward to, but then paying monthly or yearly for an account that I would hardly use and ONLY for this game? Makes it NOT worth it at all. No wonder the price is low, they make more money off the subscriptions, and even if not off the subscription, someone is. It's not fair to push consumers into something they don't want. I wonder how this is going to pan out when its released on the new iPad..

I was looking for some game I could play with my two sons (one who is 12) so I though I would give this a try. We all love it! Don't be fooled into thinking this is a dumbed down kids game, the gaming action is pretty hardcore and it does get very hard very quickly! The graphics are beautiful and the comedy style of animation is a lot of fun. We found the Split screen game to be the most fun for us. Especially when we added the SmartGlass app on my laptop, my youngest son played as Crazy Dave using this and provided air cover for us on the ground. It is great to see a game developer really trying to extend the gameplay using this technology. The only issue we had was with the EA Servers which would occasionally drop us out of a lobby in Multiplayer mode so I am hoping EA gets that fixed soon. All in all I probably would have given the game a good 4 stars but because of the SmartGlass app I give it an excellent 5, I love to see games that try something new and this game does that, keep it up EA!

So I wasn't to sure about this game at first, but I thought what the heck I'll give it a go. I'm loving it so far, it can be pretty addictive once you get on a good team of people.
