Game is fun and can provide a good time. The biggest problem is that you have to buy sticker packs to get some of the better stuff. It feels like a mobile game in that aspect. The graphics are good and adds something different to the FPS genre. I will be happy when more classes are added in 2.

I picked this game up to keep the boys off my PS4, I find myself having just as much fun as the kids do playing it. Considering there's more blood and guts in all the Lego Games this was my compromise to letting an underdeveloped mind explore the world of Zombies and Fighting Plants.

This game was bought for my sister. After I purchased an XB1 for her, she wanted this game because she had so much fun playing it on X360. To me this game was ok, but she loves it. Fun game for kids or young teens that enjoy this sort of thing.

I really do enjoy playing it, and my roommates like to use the smartglass. When playing split-screen on the Xbox, we have a 3rd assisting us. It might seem boring to the hardcore gamer, but for the little kids and the casual gamers, it's addictive.
The only downside (-1 star rating) is that all the problems you can associate with EA/Origin haven't changed. I really wish they spent all that money to fix their platform. It took a long time trying to accomplish an objective, but then EA servers crapped out and i had to start over again.

only complaint about this and other xbox games is that they require live and there is absolutely no way to enjoy it without it. Aside from that it's a great game my 9 year old and 19 year old both like it.

There are so many different characters to play and different game modes that it is almost impossible to get bored! Hours and hours of game play and the game is cheap compared to other games! It's a great deal!

This game is really fun to play, my kids love it. However, it needs to connect to EA servers to play and is constantly having issues doing so. My kids find this frustrating and I do as well.
It may have something to do with having AT&T as my internet provider. I have an XBOX ONE and there may threads if you search for EA Servers AT&T XBOX that describe all sorts of issues.
Great game but I would think twice before I purchase if you are unsure of your internet configuration.

Game is fun. We bought it to replace the Xbox 360 version since we upgraded to the Xbox One. Biggest issue is that you need Xbox Live Gold to even use it.

Excellent choice for those kids that are not of age to play mature first person shooters (FPS). Great spinoff of the hit apple/android game. Definitely recommend.

This is a fun game. My son loved app so saw for only $20 or less with gamers club and figured would try it. He thought it was great and we play together daily now. Only issue was to do online can’t do on same console so we can play together in more than the one mode which gets a little repetitive but still fun to see how long you can survive

Bought this game for my 8 year old son and I to play. He loves Plants vs. Zombies and so does his 3 year old brother. 8 year old loves playing this game and the 3 year old love to watch him. It is nice because there is no blood and it is more of a comic shooter. I wanted to let the 8 year old play something like Modern Warfare or Call of Duty, but I didn't want to subject him to the ugly truths of real life style of shooter and against people that can be "dirty" type of player. Everyone in this game that we have run across has been friendly and not over competitive. So a fun time is had by all.

This is an absolutely great game for the family! The only downside, it requires you to have Xbox Live to do the single player rpg aspect of the game.

I purchased this for the kids, and they absolutely love it. A much better choice for elementary school kids than some of the mature shooters out there. No upsell on coins, or additional maps either which has been awesome. A lot of fun.

This has got to be one of the best time killers for Xbox One, when it's working. Popcap Games did a great job mocking all of our current military shooters. The game is over the top, and silly; which is a nice change of pace. I find myself laughing when I die, and not ready to throw the controller.
On the darker side of this game, its an always online game, which means you need to have Xbox Live even to play by yourself. It also runs on EA servers, which means that you will encounter a lot of the same connection issues you have experience on BF4. Couch co-op seems like it was tacked on, and does not offer a true couch co-op experience, like on games like COD, Gears of War, Halo, Borderlands, etc. Only one person can be logged in at a time, so the second player doesn't get any experience points at all. Also you can't do split screen multiplier.
Overall great game for $40, even less if you are in Gamers Club Unlocked which you get an extra 20% off of new games. Couch co-op was a let down, and was not detail enough before the game released. I say great first effort for Popcap Games, but next time I expect a full couch co-op experience. Next time I will not be as understanding, I promise you!

Good product. The game is fascinating and clear but not sure if raring labels get reviewed by parents closely enough.
