Bad game just not what I was looking for . Good game for the kids

My wife got me this game as a present knowing how much I love to play shooters and this game surprised me. I didn't know what to expect when I started playing and as I began playing I thought I would not enjoy the game, but after a few games I got hooked. Definitely a entertaining game and I recommend this game for any age.

So far this has been a frustrating game as we have had lots of trouble playing it. Had to get xbox live membership and then work with EA sports account to access some features. So far we load the game and don't play much as apparently we are locked out of certain features. Some reviews say this occurred with the upgraded xbox and we have the elite. So far not impressed at all.

If you are a PVZ fan this product is great. The graphics are awesome and the gameplay is a lot of fun. It is the most creative shooters I have played. The only problems with the game include the lack of story mode and you also can not play split screen online.

I bought this for my son since he likes the original Plants vs. Zombie. This version you can play as either the zombie or the plant. However, I didn't read the entire packaging because when we took it home, turns out you need Xbox Live in order to play the versus version. Otherwise, you can only play in demo or single player mode. Still it's a fun and engaging game. The graphics are nice and the plants and zombies are adorable as usual.

I love the mobile version of PVZ and that was primarily why I bought the XBox one version. The graphics were really great, maybe it's just me but I had a bit of a learning curve navigating thru the game. I am still exploring and learning more and more each day but i wish there were more Kinect type of gameplay.

This would be a great $20 game. At twice that price I'm not as happy. Overall, what exists is entertaining but there isn't enough to hold nearly anyone's attention for too long. The Plants and Zombies teams are setup with a good difference in capabilities and tactics that at least gives some variety to the games but once you've mastered the basics there isn't really anywhere to go with it. Additionally I think it's really missing a tutorial of any sort to help the kids in the house maybe have a crack at this style of game, but the game assumes you already know everything there is to know about a team based FPS which I find confusing since I can't imagine anyone who plays any of the "serious" shooters is going to even give this a second glance and anyone who hasn't played them before is going to be mystified by just being dropped in a combat zone.

This game is online only and we will require stable internet. Otherwise you will be kicked out often.

Great game. Fun for adults and kids. Fast paced. You will love this game. Def a crowd pleaser.

The gameplay is very fun and entertaining in comparison to other intense hardcore first person shooters.. All around fun however the gameplay servers had an issue at launch and continue to be flakey here and there. This is reported by several parties. Not going to discourage me but just don't be suprised...

My son loves this game. He has it in his iPod and iPad. Now he has one for his xbox1.

My kids were frustrated with the game to start, but learned to dance around, avoiding enemy contact, while waiting for their pea-shooters to cycle. I like the fact that even though an internet connection is required, you can choose to play by yourself by making a private lobby on the game server.

great for kids, great for everyone....my 9 year old daughter loves this game and can not get enough. She quickly mastered the power-ups and modifications for each playable character. I enjoy the game as well as a seasoned-gamer.....all my guests and friends had similar reactions to the entertaining game.....hence the great for everyone moniker is well earned in my book....enjoy....

Bought this game for my son and he can be on it for hours.

Anyone looking for a shooter that gives you a total change of pace, should choose PvZ Garden Warfare! You can't help but laugh when you get shot by a roving cactus or limping zombie with football equipment on. It's really a great game for all ages. I highly recommend checking this game out. The only negative I have was that there were some matchmaking server issues the first day of launch but that seems to have been addressed now.
