It didn't do what I bought it for

It's a converter that plugs into the European style outlets and into which I can plug in my American style plugs. It didn't charge my laptop at all. I ended up going to the desks in the hotels where I stayed and borrowing one from them. What I borrowed was much simpler and actually worked.
