The only way I’d recommend this is because I think it’s the only to do what I need it to do. Going back to Best Buy to talk to them about it

No Audio support

I wanted this to expand the screen size to my large (no speakers equipped) computer monitors. When i plug in the HDMI cable the only thing that works is the video. It stops all sound playing from the ipad itself with no way to adjust audio. That doesnt help trying to watch presentations or videos while plugged in

Everything about it tells me it should work but I can't get a connection at all. The worst part of all this is that the Best Buy support is useless. When I communicate with someone all they do is read from the same information that came with the device. Very dissapointed.

The Best Buy representative, in their chat, told me this would work on an Android phone so I bought it. It didn't work on Android. They were incorrect. It is only for Apple. I was very disappointed because this was a gift.

After talking to customer service, they said my only option was to exchange or return it. As a business owner, I don’t really have time to waste on things like this. I would have been fine with a partial refund or even partial credit, but that wasn’t an option. Just buy the Apple one so you know it’s at least what you paid for.
