Buggy but promising
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sure, this is one of the buggiest Game Previews I've played, and the graphics aren't great by modern standards, and they're still nailing down how to translate a lot of the play mechanics and controls from the PC version... but it's also one of the most all-out fun multiplayer shooters I've played. If you're looking for something different from the usual formula of PVP shooters, Battlegrounds might be just what you're looking for.

In otherwise, the game will have updates. It's another way of putting it as a playable beta form. The game itself is fantastic for fans of the genre. But performance of the game is still there (frame rate stutters, lack of draw distance, pop in, slowdown) it's there and visually noticeable - no matter what version you play on (PC, Xbox One, and Xbox One X).

But when it seems to run well, oh man is it fun! This game is not fully released yet, so you cant expect it to be perfect. I am loving it so far and i only run solo

That means the game wont look great and will have some control and inventory issues. However the guts of the game play that has taken the PC world by Storm is here and at times is just as great! Plus, as a preview build, you will get to see the game evolve over time as it becomes a more complete product. And you don't have to purchase the game later.

Fun game, even with issues

Much more content now in maps and weapons and good gameplay. The game does have some issues and isn’t perfect but it is great fun solo or with friends. More realistic than other games and great sound design for the guns.

Not my cup of tea

I play on an X1x and it still looks like a mid 2000s video game. Tons of glitches. Poor draw distance and awful hit detection. I realize it's a beta but it's been out long enough for these things to be addressed.

Played mobile, now on console

I got it and have played it a few times. Honestly, it's good, but not great. I love the things that it did on mobile, I'm just waiting for those features to make their way to console. Once they do, I'm back into this.
