The PlayStation Pro may be more powerful, but if you don't have a 4k Tv then you're not going to see anything different so what's the point. If you're stuck on the 500gb version then this upgrade is for you, it runs faster and has 1tb hard drive and no 4k Tv needed.

I hadn’t bought a gaming system since my kids came into the picture. Now they are older I bought this PS4. I love it. Graphics are great, love the Blu-ray player and the Spotify download is nice when I want to utilize it. Everything I need for the causal dad gamer.

Love the features and pictures that it gives my tv while I’m playing the game. Really loved how it came in the package. It was very protected and secure. System and controller came out the box brand new no dents or scratches

My son had this system for about a year then it got to the point where he couldn't install anything. We have a computer engineer and a high level IT guy in the family and neither of them could get this thing to work. We are talking factory resets, checking for dust or heat marks inside the casing, you name it. Numerous YouTube videos and gamer forum consultations later, the general consensus was it'd be cheaper to buy my son a brand new PS4 than to try and have it repaired through Best Buy or Sony. That is what this purchase is, a forced replacement of a very expensive product that didn't even make it a year.

I’ve been a fan of PlayStation since the PS2 and this one is no different. No complaints at all and the 1TB is plenty of space for the amount of games and apps I have. I just wish more apps were available (Pandora for one).

Hard to beat this purchase for $200. I was looking to replace a PS3 and add one to the bedroom, so when I can't game or stream in the main room I have a place to go. Anyways, the PS4 is a great machine. You can stream about anything and the gaming is outstanding.

The slim PS4 is great. Fits in my backpack much nicer. The newer controllers have a nice clean, slick feeling to them. The system itself runs as a PS4 should. 1 TB is plenty of room whether you have digital or disc copies. I always recommend the PS4.

Plain and simple, the PS4 is the best home console. If you don't have one and can afford it, get it. If your kids want it, and again, you can afford it, get it for them. There are tons of options. This model is slick and double the memory space of the original.

What can you say that hasn't been said before? The PS4 is probably Sony's last truly great console. With a large variety of games and great Internet connectivity, you can't go wrong. I originally had the 2014 version but it went kaput so I purchased the newer slim model from Best buy for my son. It worked okay for a week but had to return it because the HDMI port malfunctioned. This was a lil stressful because PS4s were becoming hard to find in 2021 but luckily I was able to find a new one at GameStop so now all is good.

Wanted a new playstation 4. Been missing out playing video games. Nice set up and great price. Took a little while to update before I could play anything. Son said that was typical.. Nice graphics and color.

Love it. I started out with my very first game system buying the original PlayStation and loved it. Switched to Xbox for the last 15 or so years only because of price. Switched back and gave my boys the old Xbox. Now they play my system.

ps4 slim is quiet and runs games better than base. comes with controller that is great except for joystick drift. tiny enough to fit inside of a backpack with tons of room left. best game library.

I'm 70 year young, after watching my grand kids and they letting me play on their PS4 I had to get me one. I'm into the VR games.

Great for streaming, gaming, and everything in between. Very happy to pick up this quality product. Flawlessly streams my YouTube and Funimation and has great graphics! Sleek looking with the rest of my setup as well. I highly recommend this product.

This is a great console forts for the pure enjoyment of the graphics that the ps4 have in general. Plus all of the 1tb memory which is great so I can have all of the major big games that I play which take a lot of room. Definitely a great buy.

Waited all year to get it for $199 during Black Friday. Other than the annoying slower than ISP download speed, I love my PS4 and how well my Turtle Beach headset works with it. It may replace my Apple TV as the device I use to watch television and movies.

In trying to decide between getting an Xbox One and a PS4, I ended up choosing the PS4 and I have to say I'm very happy with my purchase. The home screen offers many features without even getting into the game play. Users can take advantage of multiple streaming apps, screen capture, and other features. The play store offers one free game a month, which can be pretty good games, and discounts on games you hay have wanted for digital download. The games offered on the system are really good, some of which are Xbox games made available for the PS4. If you're trying to figure out which console to get, here is my opinion: If you care more about the entertainment features, get an Xbox one. If you care more about the games made available, get the PS4 because you'll have the best of both worlds in that respect (Xbox games for the most part are made available for the PS4).

My launch model PS4 had gotten so loud that it was becoming unbearable, particularly badly during certain games (Uncharted 4 seemed to be the worst) which sounded like there was literally a commercial airport runway next door. This thing is so quiet that sometimes I forget I'm even playing it. Not literally of course, but you get the idea. Only thing I'm not 100% stoked on is that I feel with the PS5 coming this year that PS4's should be much cheaper, but at least now I have a 4 that will last me a few years until a less expensive/less horrifically ugly model of the PS5 comes out.

Was hoping to get the 500GB model as I am not that much of a gamer. That were backordered and BB decided to honor the price towards a New 1 TB model. Very happy with BB on that decision. Works great, easy to set up and upgrade the firm ware on it.

This device has been great. Game developers are still making versions of their game for the PS4s, which is great for when you can't your hands on the elusive PS5 even after more than a year after the release. So instead of paying reseller prices for a PS5, get your hands on the PS4 enjoy the games till you can go into the store and purchase a PS5
