I purchased this in early November, and it exceeded all of my expectations. Included and HDMI cable and was perfectly simple to set up and get started! Automatically synched up with my Sony tv, and works perfectly!

This console is great for any gamer that just loves playing games. No going through various menus. Just turn on and play! Made for real gamers that don't wanna argue and chat with little kids about their best Halo stats.

Loves the games and the apps that she can get loves it.

I was stunned by the clarity of the image and realism, super fast graphics and amazing online play although it's now a paid online experience but that ensures security of the online community, overall a great product!

Best console out there . It's reasonably cheap. I don't have anything against xbox one but I am used to playstations since The 1st one came out. The ps4 is truly amazing. If you own a ps3, you'll definety love the ps4.

Owned ps3 forever. Upgraded to ps4 and man what a difference. Only have 2 games at the moment. Killzone and Wolfenstien. Great replay value. Still have my ps3 but have a feeling will not be playing it very much now.

I have enjoyed this system far more than the Xbox one.

The best feature of the PS4 is the standby mode. No more waiting to get updates instead of playing, or having to wait to recharge your remote.

System ships with a 500gb HD that is easily upgradable using any 2.5" SATA drive. Battery life on the included Dual Shock is about 10 hours per charge. So if you want to watch a blu-ray one night and then start playing the next day you should charge every night (PS4 allows standby mode charging) or get another Dual Shock. In fact you'll probably want to pick up another Dual Shock at the same time. I also recommend the PowerA Dualshock 4 Charging Station instead of charging directly through the PS4. The PowerA charges faster, and by having a spring loaded cradle protects the input ports of the controller so as not to to degrade the ports through inadvertent tension. And the PowerA can be used as a holding station (not charging) to save on battery wear.

Every generation a new battle in the console wars is fought. This round goes to the Ps4. It has the power, the games, and apps to blow away the competition. If you're only getting one console this round get the ps4.

great hardware for future gamers and playstation owner

PS4 is a fantastic new system. Biggest issue is that you can't play your PS3 games. But, the graphics are fantastic. The system is fast. The new controllers is excellent. Lots of great games. Definitely a great system.
