The length and frequency of use of the PlayStation 4 indicates to me the new model is what the family wanted and expected. There was some complaints about the lack of very many games for the new model.

I waited until now to purchase this system and it was well worth it. The cost does climb pretty quickly when buying games and an additional controller.

I was lucky enough to grab one at launch. It is amazing so far. I'd recommend this for anyone that wants to continue gaming in the future. Even if you didn't have a PS3, it isn't too late to switch over!

Initial setup was a little confusing being my newest system since the ps2 slimline and original xbox.I'm disappointed that you can't play any of the older games on this console though unless you pay to download them. I like having the capability to play blue ray DVD's and built in WiFi so you don't need to plug Into the Internet modem.

Having the ability to invite a friend to play with you without them actually having a physical copy of the game with Share Play is awesome! As long as you have a strong internet connection that is.

Good system and works well. I would recommend it over xbox

Great graphics and gameplay seems good. Has a lot of features that are redundant, or at least ones that I won't use. Can you play a game and stream music? Why would I use it to surf? I've never seen any game consoles with this feature do it as well as my pad or smart phone

Christmas present for my daughter - she and her husband love it. It's everything they expected. Kudos to Best Buy for having a great supply available a few days before Christmas and at the normal price.

I got this for my son for his birthday. We bought it in store and got a package deal with a couple of games, an extra controller and a 2 year live plan. Was perfect and saved money on the whole thing.

Overall didn't get the free game as I was promised when I purchased the system for my son

my review is that this console is great because the controller is bigger for people that have big hands also everyone had wished that it came with an hdmi cable and it actually came with an hdmi cable.
