The PS4 is a good new gaming system from Sony. The new controller is much better than the dualshock 3, and may even be better than my favorite controller (Xbox 360). The PS4 is small, smaller than my PS3, and could easily fit in a backpack or small suitcase. Due to the weak launch lineup it is hard to know how much better the graphics on the PS4 will be compared to the previous Gen. However, 2k14 and Battlefield both look much better than there prior Gen counterparts. In my opinion, Madden 25 looks better, but only marginally. The graphics should only get better in the years to come and the PS4 is much more powerful than the PS3. The Vita streaming features work great as long as you have a good connection to you router.

Sony never disappoints and just like the previous PS3, this system is simply amazing. The only complaint I have is the lack of games out right now, but surely that'll be fixed soon!

PS4 looks great next to your TV and on it. The graphics are a leap forward from the previous generation and are a welcome improvement. The game library is still lacking -- it'll take some time to build it up. But the new controllers feel great and the system is easy to use, so I'm looking forward to what Sony can deliver with their new console platform.

Greatness Awaits! PS4 is here and well worth the wait. From social gaming, to next gen graphics and a superior online store. Everything is at your finger tips. The PS4 is lightning fast no matter what you are doing. Downloads speeds have vastly improved The new dual shock 4 is a great improvement over the dual shock 3. It feels great in your hands and has a good battery life. This thing is sleek and very quiet. You will barely notice it is on.

I really have nothing bad to say about the PS4. I have an original PS3, and the only thing I did not like was the lack of cross game chat. Finally, Sony has this working. I have been using the PS4 since the launch. Have not had any issues and am really enjoying it. Signed up for some of the streaming TV services, no lag. If I had one very small complaint, it would be that Sony has not quite made the Friends/Party/Chat features quite as user friendly as the XBOX, but it is workable.

I've been a sony console fan from the beginning and I'm enjoying my PS4 to the fullest. Everything seems easy to navigate, games look great, controller feels better than previous dualshock 3 controller, pad and speaker are a great addition on controller. I know its launch so i'm allowing for lack of content but its definitely missing at the moment making the ps3 interface look better in its place. The camera is okay better than previous playstation eye but less interactive than Kinect camera. At the moment only supports simple voice menu commands. Overall all I think the console is worth buying and has a tremendous potential for the future. If you want content you might want to wait a bit longer before purchase.

PS4 is exactly what I expected. Out of the box, set up was fast and easy. Played COD Ghosts first and then finished Knack next. My kids love the game Knack. Color and gameplay are smooth with no glitches. Only drawback is the lack of backwards compatibility, but I knew that before I bought the console, so not a big deal. We are happy with the purchase.

The PS4 is a rare breed, but an amazing one at that. I can't describe how much i've been on mine since I've purchased it. Whether i'm playing BF4 or just on Netflix, this console does it all. Even though it doesn't have much to offer right now in terms of apps and games, give it a good 2-3 months maximum, the library of FREE games will be insane. If you're still deciding between the PS4 and Xbone, you know the right choice.

It's a great gaming system with some great games and a promising future. The interface is bare bones (which I like) and incredibly responsive but may not satisfy people who love a more robust UI. The remote play of the vita and second screen capabilities via Playstation App are nice additions that will get a lot of use out of people that own a Vita/Playstation App compatible phone. It is a device made to play games and does so wonderfully.

My only beef with the PS4 is the size of hard drive it comes with. 500 GB is limited considering the games need to be installed and everything the drives needed for. Graphics are great and having Playstation Plus is a great deal with this system and if you still got a PS3 and or Vita. Controller is better improved and feels great, although I wish analog sticks had the grips like the Xbox One which does feel nicer. Overall great system

I couldn't wait to open and set it up. The layout, display, graphics and the Apps are great. However, I was disappointed with other things that it could do other than play games. You can't see anything on your network from the PS4 to play movies, videos, music, etc. (which you could do on the PS3). Sony forces you to buy from the Playstation Plus network if you want to do these things. I was also hoping that the USB ports could read and play files from an external hard drives or a flash drive (most modern devices can). You can use it for your controllers and saving data, thats about it. The PS4 is great for gaming and the Apps, but its not the "all round home entertainment system" that I was hoping for.

PS4 takes gaming to the next level. The level of details in games for PS4 is mind-blowing. It plays DVDs, Music and has great online capability. PS4 is a must have for gamers!

What a top notch machine. I love playstation and they never disappoint. This is THE console to buy. Small and powerful. The games so far are great and look amazing. It's not quantity it's quality. Amazing job sony.

This is a great platform for playing games. My 8 year old and myself have hours of fun with it. It does take him a little bit of time with some things due to him being 8 but the icons make it simple to use. Great for accessing things that the computer used to do. Makes it a great all in one stop for fun.

Overall the PS4 is fast, great graphics, relatively quiet and brings a enjoyable experience when play games! Netflix looks great, UI is cool wish you can change the theme though. Being able to watch other people play their games live is also a new experience that I'm starting to like! I think a console should be all about games . When your a real gamer your focused on your game not trying to watch tv and play!!!!! #Greatnessawaits

Been a Playstation fan since their first console. They've really improved on what makes their systems great with the PS4. The controller is amazing and comfortable to use. The systems interface is as easy to use as the Playstation 3's and will only get better with time. Owning a Vita allows me to use the remote play feature and works great. If your in the market for a Next Generation console this in my opinion is the smart choice.

Occasional gamer here. I don't have the time to play very often but when I do it's an enjoyable time. I mainly play sport games but occasional I'll pick up a good story game. The speed on the PS4 is amazing. Turn on the device and within minutes you are playing. It's perfect for me because I don't play very often. The graphics are a huge improvement from PS3. If you are looking for top of the line you might want to invest in a gaming PC but for me that just isn't a good investment because I don't play that regularly. Also, I use the PS4 for blue-ray and Amazon Instant Video. The price isn't great but compared to the XBOX One and gaming PC's you can't go wrong. I'm sure eventually it will go down but why wait? Okay, wait if you don't have the money. Looks amazing! I had the old space ship PS3....looked kinda dumb. This is a big improvement. Lastly, game selection. I'm a huge FIFA fan so that's the only game I really play. Except for the occasional LEGO game with the wife (It's fun for sure). Definitely worth buying if you have the money and enjoy playing games. P.S. Just pre-ordered a PS Vita Slim. I hear the remote play works pretty well on the PS4. Just another reason to upgrade :)

The graphics are amazing on the PS4. The games and movies load so much faster than the previous PS3. Great marketplace to purchase digital content and with the PS4 having a 500 GB hard drive you'll have plenty of room to store content. The controllers are comfortable to hold and have a great responsiveness to them. The light indicator is nice but can quickly get overlooked when in the middle of gameplay. Overall great product.

I bought this PS4 for my girlfriend, so it's the second one in our household (we like to game together). I really like the new user interface, the controller redesign feels really good in my hands. We are currently waiting for Destiny to drop. My biggest disappoint though is the lack of titles that aren't just PS3 ports or cross generation games. I want some games that are designed for the processing power of the PS4!!!

The PS4 has some great hardware specs including a custom CPU and GPU 8 GB of DDR5 memory (extremely fast and efficient memory), 7.1 output and on and on. My only gripe is the hard drive size since most games tend to be between 25-40GB in size and have to be installed on the hard drive to use. Now you can upgrade the hard drive later and Sony fully supports the upgrading of the internal hard drive with any 2.5" laptop hard drive. Gaming: If you are gaming as stated above all games are installed to hdd and then the discs are read to verify, this makes the games run a lot smoother. The selection of games at launch is minimal, but you will find something you will like and every week new games will be coming out. The current games definitely leave a lot to be desired and that is a good thing. This means games will get progressively better as the developers utilize the hardware better. Steaming: If you are looking for the streaming services be happy that companies are looking to add their streaming services to the PS4. Sony has stated "PLAYSTATION PLUS WILL NOT BE REQUIRED FOR ANY VIDEO OR STREAMING APPS." I applaud Sony for not charging you a fee to access content you already pay for, but just give you the convenience of having it right there. Currently, Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Instant Video, VUDU and etc are all available for free download with your subscription. The interfaces have been updated and look awesome on the new console. Overall, this console will satisfy the hardcore gamer, and in time I believe will give the casual gamer and video watcher satisfaction as well.
