Bought this during black Friday, got the best deal... very nice game unit. Plays DVDs, CDs, etc. Love the new controller style, very sleek and small.

If you're looking for a machine that's made for gaming, this is your bet for next generation systems. The supply of games is a little limited right now but there are some good ones already and they look incredibly pretty compared to PS3 and Xbox 360. The native 1080p rendering delivered provides a super crisp picture while the Xbox One (I own both) is chugging behind in 720p-ville. I am really looking forward to the next year or so of games.

The PS4 is a graphical powerhouse, able to deliver massive game worlds with impressive clarity and detail for any gamer that wants the best console.

This is strictly a gaming console. The controller includes a charge cable, unlike Xbox One, and charges in standby mode. I also own an Xbox One and graphical differences are negligible. Online cost is cheaper than Xbox live and the console itself is 100 dollars cheaper. Also updates games in standby mode.

I only write reviews when a product is good enough to take a couple minutes of my life to do so. Ladies and gentleman: I'm happy to report, the PS4, IS one of those products! From the amazing design of the console, the controller, the camera, to the amazingly polished and intuitive OS, Sony had truly made a spectacular console! I'm both a PS and Xbox fanboy! Oh, and I still have love for Nintendo! The PS4 looks to be quite the game console this gen! Have fun! Hopefully you don't get a launch lemon!!

The PS4 is a wonderful device. The device itself is exceptional and functions greatly as a media device and can replace many other devices in your home entertainment system. Netflix, hulu plus, amazon on demand, and many many other streaming video services are able to be used by the ps4 without the need for any other devices. The ps4 is also obviously a video game system and does so incredibly well. The games to come out at launch are hit or miss, many of the big budget games are flawless and beautiful. Killzone 4 has zero issues and looks and performs flawlessly. Battlefield 4 while looking amazing, has numerous issues. Playing online has been plagued with server issues, as well as random dropouts. The software is also plagued by numerous other problems that can cause the game to crash, and even worse corrupting the games save file resulting in a full loss of the save! If you're playing campaign this is where you'll be hurt the most, you'll lose all of your progress in campaign and be forced to start all over from the beginning. Overall, this is an amazing system and will only become even better as time goes on. Judging by the life span of previous playstation consoles, this will be around for 7 years or so. As updates arrive the unit will gain further functionality and other capabilities only extending its use as a media hub. To keep it simple, its a MUST BUY.

I have both the ps4 and the xbox one. I like them both, but tend to like the ps4 a little more. Controller is very comfy. Graphics are great, and they will only continue to get better. If you can get your hands on a ps4, and you can afford it, then I suggest you don't hesitate and purchase it right away.

Technology should get better as time passes and the ps4 is proof to that concept. Smaller than the ps3, faster and better all around. True, it lacks exclusive content but the exclusives will come very soon. The system is extremely fast. It's very easy to use. Sony truly listened for what the fans wanted. The controller is far better than the dual shock 3. You won't be disappointed.

The PS4 is the best next generation console for the hardcore gamer. It's UI is minimalistic and intuitive, with useful social features and pleasing background music. Additionally, the newly redesigned controller is the most comfortable and ergonomic video game controller I've ever had the pleasure of using. The lack of great games at launch is the only negative thing about the PS4.

I've only had the system for a week now but so far I already like the user interface better than the ps3's. The graphics are nice on all the games even though it's nothing ground breaking, it will continue to get better. The PS4 has a lot of potential and I'm sure Sony will learn from their past mistakes. If you pick-up a PS4 you won't be disappointed. Greatness Awaits! Beyond!

Ive always been a Sony guy first, but owned every system just to play every exclusive title as well. I failed to pre-order the PS4 so ended up waiting in line to get an XBone the following week(after spending 7 days calling and visiting EVERY BB, Wal Mart, Target, Gamestop etc nonstop, lol) Luckily, BB ended up getting a special shipment in 1 1/2wks later and I was able to get a PS4 as well. Comparing the 2 is strictly preference, don't let anyone's review tell you different. I give the overall setup/performance/UI for PS4 a 9.5 and the XBone a 9.0. With PS having better controller for shooters and XB better for racing/sports games so far anyways. I have encountered issues with XB, but fairly minor considering how much time ive spent on it. Mainly just freezing during Madden and NBA2k(both on XB#. NO issues experienced on PS at anytime on any game so far. If youre on the fence and do not know which system to go with I would say go with the system who's future exclusive lineup appeals to you most. If youre not a hardcore gamer and just play games every now and then and don't care too much about exclusives id say go with the PS4, simply for the better overall system performance#not noticeable by the average user# If you use your system for a lot of home entertainment#exp: Netflix, Hulu, kids games) then you should definitely go with the XB1

I have not run into any problems at all with the PS4. Sony makes great reliable products! I have never had an issue with the PS3, so that is why I choose to get the PS4. The graphics are amazing. The design is very nice and sleek. The new UI is really nice and easy to use. I cant wait for more games to come out. I would most definitely recommend the PS4 to anyone and everyone!

The playstation 4 is great. I've had zero problems with mine and hope it stays that way. It was easy to set up and my PSN account with PS+ transferred right over from my ps3 and vita to my ps4. The remote play feature works great when the wife wants to watch tv. Only problem I have with it is that my sony headset doesn't work with it. Next major update will take care of that.

Its time to get into a new era, PS4 is on the way - it does everything you would expect but there are a few negatives - primarily no backwards compatibility so dont gift your ps3 to the nephew quite yet. Games look great and sound amazing (if you have the capability you get dolby 7.1 and wow it works!) Now just to wait for some decent games to come out that arnt COD or BF4

So far the PS4 has exceed my expectations, great picture, easy to use and fast. Currently connected to 65" 1080p 3D 240hrz Panasonic LED TV and a full 5.1 system has blown me away with the clarity of video and sound. Haven't try the 3D yet but I did notice it couldn't read a couple of Blurays (maybe a firmware update will fix it). Other than that I love the system overall.

I have owned both Xbox 360 and PS3. The PS4 is much faster than the PS3. I really like the new controllers, and the games are very responsive to the system. So far I really like the PS4, but there are things that I am not excited about. I am not excited that you have to pay for a Play Station Plus membership to play multiplayer games. I was disappointed that the PS4 does not play MP3 music files. I was not excited to find out that my blue tooth headset would not work with the PS4. The console's fan is loud, and it seems to run hot. I would advise not to stack it on top of other electronic components.

My review over the ps4 is that it was a great gaming experience. During my gameplays, I noticed the graphics were tremendous and the comfort of the controller itself was very, very compatible with my hands. So, overall the Ps4 is a great next generation console and I am glad and lucky to have it!

I bought both PS4 and Xbox One. By far, I play my PS4 much with PS Plus member, which offers free game and discounts. The PS4 focus on Gaming. Xbox One trying to be Multi media player, which does not work half the time. PS4 graphica and Ram is much better then Xbox one. Xbox One braggs about the voice command that does not work 50% of the time. Kinda like Iphone Siri. If you want a gaming console buy an PS4 and high end PC. You want to watch TV and Multi media player buy a Xbox one. PS4 graphic is equal to what I would have paid on High end PC about 2 years ago.
