Great design, 1080p gaming unlike it's 720p competitor, user-friendly menu, and premium hardware. The updated DualShock controller is more comfortable. I love this system, I just wish there were better launch titles, but the games will come.

Easy to set up, the graphics are outstanding. Easy to use interface. The controller is much better than the PS3 design. The PSN network is much more affordable than the 'other box.' I do not regret this purchase. Just waiting for more games!

Sony did an amazing job with console. It's small and light enough to fit just about anywhere. Great performance and amazing speed. Everything looks great, except the fingerprint magnet side. But other than that its great. I highly recommend.

The system is great. Mine worked right out of the box, the day one update took no time at all to download and install. The package came with $10 PlayStation Store cash, and some free time with PlayStation Plus (i can't remember if it was 15 or 30 days). The free Plus games at launch (Resogun and Contrast) are great. The new controller has a few added features that make it great too, including indented thumb sticks, extended triggers, and the currently underused touchpad. There are some issues however but they are minor. There are no more "Themes" so desktop customization is out. FPS games have changed from a L1/R1 Sights and Fire to L2/R2 Sights and Fire so that takes some time to get used to but with the new triggers it is actually more enjoyable but switching between PS3 and PS4 will get you very confused very quickly.

The PS4 is much smaller than the original PS3. Graphics are very good on KillZone and Assassins Creed. Love the use I'd the touchpad in these games. Overall I think Sony got it right on the console that really does seemed focused on gaming.

The graphics are fantastic, and the setup was easy. PSN improved dramatically. Easily switches between Netfix and games without having to completely shutdown and reload either one, which is awesome. Definitely living up to the hype so far.

I have a PS3 and now I have the PS4. The PS4 is much better to play games on. The realistic of the games are much better. If you have a Vita, you will be amazed on how easy it is to play with the PS4. The games are much better on the PS4.

I plan to buy the xbox1 after the new year but for now, this system is amazing. The unit performs very well. Very easy to navigate, clean interface. Games load quick too. The video quality from the games, at 1080p are amazing to look at!

The games are great and look amazing. The apps are easy to use and the new start up screen is better then the old ps3. Online play has been good, only bummer is it costs 50 dollars.

I got my PS4 at launch and it was an amazing experience right from the get go. The PS+ games and Killzone are great titles. The hardware is well built and its really great to see a new controller and a new UI that is more user friendly.

I like what Sony has done with this new product. The hardware casing is solid and slick looking. The new controller design is a much needed upgrade from the previous PlayStation DualShock controllers. It feels much better in your hand and is just overall easier to use. The software interface is minimalistic, which, depending on your preference, could be a good or bad thing. It's quick and responsive and has some cool features on day one. At the same time at times it can be too minimalistic. There a little options for sorting your games and everything just sorts when you last used it, which can be useful when you want to just jump into what you were playing last, but can be frustrating when you're looking for something specific. The release games are nice looking and take advantage of the PS4 hardware. The visuals are in 1080p (most last gen were in 720) and you can really see the difference in graphical power vs the last generation. At the same time, the jump is comparable to what PCs offer already. This is a bad sign for PC gamers since they think this generation will last 10 years. In the past the consoles have surpassed PCs in power and then near the end of a generation PCs have surpassed the consoles. This time around they have made the consoles comparable to PCs already on the market...not cool. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and look forward to what the developers can do with this system.

Better exclusives, Harddrive, Looks nicer, Less expensive, better graphics. It wins in everything.

After reading some negative reviews from the early released versions, I was slightly concerned with getting the PS4. No reason to though. It works great and was well worth the hours of standing in line for the mid night release! Smoother controls, better graphics, and just all around excellent, I can't wait to see what this next generation of Playstation has to offer!!!

Great upgrade to the next gen of consoles. UI is very fast, jump between games and apps all seemlessly. Controller is MUCH improved, and shooters actually feel good/relaxing to play. Some amazing content still to come. Price is right!

I have really enjoyed this console. It has a great new controller that fits comfortably in my hands and works very well. The new features like the Vita second screen and remote play, and the ability to share videos and achievements while playing is great. I know a lot of people are complaining about a lack of games, but the ones that are there are great. Also, it has taken about a year for all of the previous system launches to build up a library of great games. If you look at the games that will be released over the next year for this console there are some really great ones (Infamous: Second Son, Watchdogs, The Order 1886, etc.). There are also great free to play games like Warframe and Blacklight: Retribution. So, I have enjoyed my new system greatly, and it is only going to get better from here.

I recently purchased the new ps4 I love the look and design. The system is easy to operate my 5 year old son can navigate very easy. The new controller is awesome love how it is interactive. Can't wait for all the new games next year

Very obvious speed and power upgrade from PS3. Only a handful of games out at launch, but I can tell the difference between call of duty ghosts and BF4 between console generations. User friendly as expected, great upgrade all around.
