Glad i bought the playstation 4 it is a great gaming machine!

I think that this is a great machine. I can have sub accounts that can play the games I buy, I can not even tell its on it is so quite. I havent had any problems graphics are great I like the new controller except for the light , the sound coming from the controller I enjoy. The system is easy to navigate Needs more games which will come just wish sooner. I would rcommend to all gamers

I love my PS4, has a great UI and works very fast. I really like the games at launch but there just isn't enough of them. Games are on their way, and as soon as we start getting more this will be a must have piece of gaming hardware

I bought this as an early Christmas present for my son (and for me as a blue ray player) and we couldn't be happier. The graphic quality on the games is amazing, blue rays play beautifully, and even the NetFlix and Hulu streaming look incredibly better than we were watching it on our other system previously. We definitely made the right choice between the two new gaming systems that came out this year!!

This is the first time that we have bought a console at launch, and we have no regrets. The console booted up fine, the user experience is fluid and smooth, and the few games we've played (Resogun, Contrast, and Flower) are excellent. The controller is a pleasure to use, and the camera functionality (facial recognition and Playroom) is very nifty. Design-wise, the console looks sleek and adds visually to our home theater. I look forward to the next several years with respect to games and usability experience on the PS4.

The PS4 is a great next gen system. It has a nice smooth 2 layer design on the outside with two usb ports infront. It comes with one remote, a USB cable to charge the remote, and a simple headphones with a mic. The remote can not be charge while the system is off so it will be recommended to by a charging station which is nice because it gives a place to keep your remote. The touch buttons on the PS4 are hard to find but if you look carefully between the two shades of color in front, you can find the eject and power putton. Power button is on top and the eject button is on the bottom. The graphics and page layout is nice and simple to use. If you have a ps vita, you can use it has a hand held with the ps4. Once FF and KH comes out, I believe the system will become more popular.

The graphics seem better, and they are smoother. The controller is a lot more responsive, and more comfortable. I like the speaker in it as well. The major downside, which was expected, is that a lot of the features of the PS4 are not available yet.

Perfect system. Works great. It's quiet and unbelievably fast compared to last generation. The graphics are definitely a big step up, a high end tv helps to show this better. I love it and will be buying another for my bedroom.

Overall the system is built to last made out of strong material and doesn't feel cheap. The graphics and all the features is what gets the gold, set up was very easy compared to the xbox one. The only bad thing I could say about the playstation 4 is that I only played for one hour and the system got really hot, so make sure you have enough space for it to breath or buy a stand.

Love my PS4, the interface is very simple and the graphics are great. Quite, fast, and I enjoy the instant game resume. Also the exclusive titles are grate. Looking forward to the updated crash bandicoot.

I picked up the PS4 on the midnight release at the Madison WI east side store. Everyone was excited yet calm and polite in line. The staff was outside to brief everyone on the process and help answer any questions. Once the doors opened it was smooth sailing... organized pick up of accessories, speedy and a friendly experience picking up the console. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Got home, the system was easy to hook up, three cables to connect... hdmi, power, Ethernet. New menus are intuitive and feel more personal with your Facebook account connected. No flaws or errors to report, been running strong for the past week. I opted for the 4 year protection plan just in case, you never know with electronics it's always a gamble and it's better to be safe than sorry.

Xbox one got PS4 beat on online play but overall more impressed with the PS4 gameplay and graphics.

I think 4 stars is fair for now, considering the growing pains of implementing a new system. The system itself is powerful. You notice that right away after loading a disc and booting up a game. It's quick...very quick. I'm also impressed with the system's ability to move in-and-out of games and other applications. You never have to worry about "Quitting" a game to access the XMB menu or other applications. It's more representative of a PC than a PS3 b/c every task is seamless! The graphics are unbelievable. Some games are showing in 1080p, unlike the PS3's 720p. And, yes, I notice the difference. All that said, I was a little disappointed with the number of Apps offered and the ability to customize your Dashboard, etc. The good news is, Sony built this system to with room for upgrades, new ideas and tons of potential. Apps may just be the beginning. Allowing the PS4 to remain a blank canvas gives them the ability to listen to consumers' demands and cater the system to our liking. Again, just like a PC. The PS3 was restricted to operate within the boundaries of what they already created, which was typically just the game itself. The PS4 has a lot of potential for innovation, which can be implemented on the go. So, I for one, am excited to see how far Sony pushes the limits of technology. I'm very pleased with my purchase!

Overall I would rate this system as 9 out of 10. The only downfall I have is that the controller battery life is shorter than the previous dual shock controllers. Other than that, Sony hit a home run with this console!!!!

I love the controller and the hardware is so easy to use. No games yet but very powerful and PSN is VERY friendly even without Plus you can access everything even being able to play Free-to-play games ONLINE and with others without PSN+ even Netflix, Hulu, etc... unlike Xbox Live, plus $100 cheaper. I enjoy indies and single player and this seems like the console for me.

Another excellent product from Sony. They have truly worked hard to trim the time it takes from turning on the Console to playing your game. Quick and easy to setup and start playing. Family loved Knack and is already looking forward to the next set of games that will release for the console. One big drawback, that goes with every console launch, is the limited choice of game titles. You would think after all these years that consoles and developers would have more than 15 - 20 games, most of which are ports from the PS3. I would have expected that they really would launch more games that showcase their New systems. Really surprised that Sony, and XBOX for that matter, do not get with the developers and build more games exclusive to the new console for launch.

It's Black, Blue, and Beautiful.... What more can i say? It's Sony's Next-Gen Day one PlayStation 4. Happy to say that mean works great and the graphics in the games are nothing but gorgeous 1080p with the capability to go 4k in the future, it's safe to say by the end of this consoles life it will be well worth the $400 +tax. The mid night release of the PS4 was pretty good, got some free merchandise by Best Buy employees also treated me and the other's pretty good during my 3hr's on line in 50 degrees weather. Love the console and can't wait for what to come in the future of the PlayStation 4. Games & all.

This is my first gaming system which I know is odd considering I'm an early thirties male. Regardless, I love it although I admittedly have no other experience to compare it to besides PC gaming. I have had ZERO of the reported issues and I have the system since midnight launch. I primarily bought it for the gaming aspect obviously but the Netflix interface is just as good if not better than the current Apple TV interface. Overall was navigating the PS4 UI within 5 minutes with it's mostly intuitive layout.
