So the first thing I did was swap out the pre-installed hard drive with a solid state hard drive I had. I never booted it up with the original hard drive so I can't really compare the two, but I can say that the system boots in 10 seconds with the solid state and loading times are very very minimal. I love the hardware upgrades, it feels like i'm gaming on a pc again :) The last great feature i'll talk about is the fact that every single game that comes out for the ps4 is remote play compatible, meaning that you can play ps4 games remotely on a PS Vita handheld system and the graphics and responsiveness are amazing. So I think it's great that buying the PS4 about doubles the functionality of the Vita I already owned. All in all this was a wonderful purchase.

The PS4 is a great followup to the PS3. The graphics in all the games I have played have been amazing. Sony has put more of a social aspect that was missing in the PS3 in, as they allow parties and even allow Facebook connectivity if you are into that sort of thing. Unfortunately, it seems all the really good PS4 games are being saved for Q1 2014, but this is standard for every launch. Something else they did was cool was allow people who owned games on PS3 that are also on PS4 to pay a small fee to get the game for both consoles. Seems like a good way to keep people loyal to the playstation series happy. Other than that there is no backwards compatibility which is a bit of a negative. Overall though, this a fun new console and a good use of your money.

Great system that is super fast. Able to hop in and out of games seamlessly. Sony wasn't just hyping this system up they really did deliver. Controller I better than ever and super comfortable . Great for shooters now.

This is the best gaming system with the best features

While the selection of games may not be so great right now, the console itself is amazing. It's very fast, easy to use and aesthetically pleasing. I love the new DS4 controller, it's a lot better than the DS3 for PS3.

It's not a perfect product yet, but if Sony makes good on their promises (3d and mp3's), it will be close to perfect. The ps4's controllers are much better than the ps3's were and so is the interface. I love the ps4!

I bought this item as a gift so no review for actual item. This is just to say that my order was very easy and accurate from order to delivery thanks best buy. The gamer who gets this system is going to love his ps4.

The first day I bought it I thought I bought a $400 paper weight, had so many problems getting online. In just 24 hrs it was all working great and been loving everybit of it, so much stuff to list. Very happy with it

Great system, fast, slick, some good games. Great controller, apps, and network system. Setup was easy and fast, no problems, I was playing in secs. The games could be better, but I see a good future for this system.

I bought my PS4 from Best Buy in Feb of this year. I was quite lucky they had one in stock. My only real concern was if I had a broken malfunctioning PS4. With so many customers having the blue screen or light of death, I was quite worry to get one. Xbox one is more logical to get because they are always in Stock and easier to replace. PS4 are limited so it would take awhile to replace if mines was broken. After purchasing it, everything ran smooth and so far have no problems with mines. 5 star

Great next step up from PS3, XBOX360,etc, however, not that much dramatic since we already shifted to HD last generation. Love that it is smaller, looks sleeker, and a nice feeling Dual Shock controller, but UI seems slow and cumbersome and not as streamlined as Microsoft's. All in all, can't wait for next patches and updates to see where this really takes off.

So far I've had it for a week and it's been a delight! User interface is great and simple, switching between games an the menu is super snappy, and stable! Games look incredible! The console itself is very elegant.

It's good CPU and CPU and pretty much good looking hardware and controller. It's worth it plus good exclusive.

so far the new ps4 seems really good the controller is much better then the ps3 has amazing graphics but the hard drive size does seem kind of limited at 400 or so gigs and the game downloads take up a ton of room

Sony has out done themselves this time around. Making a console that is more powerful than it's competition at a cheaper price. They also didn't lose sight on what matters in a a gaming console which is the games.

So I originally wanted to wait another year to buy this since I have a xbox 360 and had some games I havent even played yet still but my friend kept pushing to get it to play Final Fantasy real reborn with him as well as other friends so I did it. I love the system and can see how I will turn away from the xbox 360 soon as the graphics are way better and muti-tasking as really been improved. I do feel at time I could have still waited since there is basically no games out there. I bought NBA 2k14 just have a game to play on the new system (as I am not much of a sports player), Metal gear solid which I was very upset with how short the game is and will be selling that game back soon, and final fantasy which I do love but didnt really see that as justfied for spending 600 bucks for console, extra controller, games, and 1 year subscription for but oh well....its here now and I just cant wait for new and better games like Watch dogs (which I already pre-ordered)

I really like this game system it is easy to use , it looks like real people on the games . The only thing I didn't like is that I has to go buy a new tv to hook it up there should be a adaptor for the older TV's

I pre-ordered my PS4 back in July, and it hasn't dissapointed. The games are beautiful and the best part is the much improved controller. I think they have just about perfected the controller and personally, it is the best one I have ever used. With Sony's first-part game lineup on the PS3, I am super excited for what is to come this gen. Killzone was a visual powerhouse and this gen is off to a great start with Infamous, The Order: 1886, Uncharted, and much more around the corner. The share feature is probably the best new feature this gen. Being able to broadcast live or share your gameplay with a single button press is amazing. And finally who can't argue with that value? For twice the price of a PS3, you gat 10 times the power.

The games alone make this a wise choice over Xbox one. The LAST OF US, DYING LIGHT, and SHADOW OF MORDOR or/and Mortal Kombat X I recommend not using the headset companion app. IT messed up my headsets.
