The PS4 is the most recent entry into the world of next-gen graphics and social gaming. With a stylish design and reimagined controller, new gamers and long-time playstation fans are sure to rejoice. Multi-tasking abilities and social options allow to post video and screen shots with a few simple steps to the community. With a Playstation Plus membership, you are able to download free games and content as well as access certain online features not available to everyone else. The hardware architecture allows for great independent developer games. Currently on this software version, Sony doesn't allow for Bluray 3D support. A patch down the road may fix that hopefully, as I have a collection of 3D movies.

Overall a great product is easy to use. Looks great and feels great when you play it. they kept it simple but powerful. The notification system could use some tweaking... other wise a great investment!

Sony out did themselves with the ps4 the graphics are amazing and I love how easily you can share your gameplay on twitch and ustream. The UI looks good and the games that play in 1080p looks stunning

I bought the PS4 around March and boy was I happy. I understand that there are certain problems with the software such as lack of a youtube app. You'll be able to get pass that with many strengths. The controller has been revamped to have a light sensor bar which may be annoying for some but it has innovation purposes in some games (Outlast:When batteries run low the light bar flickers). The share button actually had some uses such as funny moments in a game that you wish you could save. Also, with a double tap of the PS button in the middle you can switch out of your game to something else in a blink of an eye. Look for updates in the summer to make the PS4 a great next generation console.

I had the PS3 then switched to 360 and now that I have the PS4. I am glad I went back. This console is the best. Everything about is great. It has exceeded my expectations. I can tell you every little thing i like about it but it will be an ever ending story. BUY IT, YOU WONT REGRET IT!!....

The new PS4 Is amazing. It is fast and the UI is fluid. Sony fixed all the interface issues that I have with a the PS3. And ACIV looks awesome. Could not be more happy. And its just getting started.

Although slim and lightweight, the PS4 packs a punch. Every game I've played is incredible and the online play is a must. Whether you like sports games or RPG's, you'll find something that you like.

I've been a Xbox follower for over 10 years but reading all the reviews and specs for PS4 its a game changer! Sorry Xbox but in November all my stuff will be listed on CL for sale.

Interface is great. Seamlessly switches between home screen and whatever it is your doing. Wish there more games out but that will come in time. Controller feels really comfortable and substantial.

I love the PS4 it fixed all the problems of the PS3 and perfected them. The PS4 is fast you can go screen to scree asap no wait. Sharing is easy as pushing a button. The system stays in standby and updates by its self or uploads games. Saving in the cloud is amazing for when you are on the go or have more then one PS4. It is also beautiful the side light gives it a nice look. The controller is even 100% better, bright light on controller works as power bar, touch pad is cool, and joysticks are so much better. I have two complaints though. One you cant organize home screen and two light bar on system and controller we should be able to customize. I hope an update comes out for these.

I'm not going to start this review talking about how much better this system is than the xbox one. It's too early, and I would be arrogant to decide which is better so soon. I'm just going to highlight a few things about how great this system is. Significantly Powerful Hardware Incredible Price Point First and Foremost: an incredible gaming device High Level of Developer Support Vast Potential If you are interested in purchasing a primary gaming console, this is the device for you. There are other options, but at the core, this system is designed for the gamer, above all else. I wouldn't say that another console is the wrong decision, but choosing this one will certainly not dissapoint.

Sony has created a masterpiece, enjoyable with family, friends, or alone. Being able to switch from applications fast and simple is great. The new dualshock 4 is amazing, feels great in your hand.

The ps4 system is way better than expected. Looks great and sleek color with the blue light in the middle. The games are great and the user interface is so simple to use everyone will love the ps4

The fact that the console has double gpu or more than any other console tells me that this console was built for excellence and will be a promising console, not to mention the Sony Co doubled the friends list compared to, say, Microsoft which once again tells me that Sony really wants to push ahead big time this generation, also looking back a the price tells me they really care about making PR with their consumers would highly recommend.

Graphics are a considerable upgrade. Made the home screen look a lot better with the setup without sacrificing quality. Battery in the controllers last about a 1/4 of the time compared to the ps3

Easy to hook up. Fast loading and great graphics. We definitely like the controllers much more than the PS3 controllers. They are more comfortable and feel solid with better grip and ergonomics.

Graphics on the games look more realistic and the controller feels more comfortable than the PS3. Happy that game and accessory prices didn't jump up and are the same price as the older systems.

The new PS4 is fast and a big increase in graphics and game performance from last generation. My only complaint is that there is no real good first party software out that justifies the purchase. The system functionality is also lacking in terms of app software and what you can do. There is no 3D Blu Ray support or MP3, MP4 support and the system cannot play music CD's at all. To be fair the system is new and I am sure there will be some major improvements and patches coming down the road in terms of upgrades. If you have a PS3 or Xbox 360 no need to upgrade at this time unless there is a killer exclusive you have been dying to play. Overall it's worth the price just needs more software and more versatility in system functions and apps.

Very technologically advanced console. I Love everything about it. The game is now like an app in a way, and you can navigate through the PS4 main screen with ease without having to restart or leave the game. Lots of capabilities that I'm still discovering even after a week of owning it. Oh and also, the control is so much easier to use. It was actually designed this time for human hands :D I won't say too much detail about the control though, you have to experience it yourself. Great console for Video game enthusiasts though. I just don't recommend it to the older generation because of all the updates and options this console carries. Highly recommended though to anyone else.
