Forget everything you knew about PS3 cuz this is PS4 and it has something to prove. Every little complaint big or small has been ironed out and missing things were added in. Did you dred using the ps3 controller for fps games. Well forget that cuz the new controller rivals any other out there including the xbox controller(360 and x1). Yes, ive used both. All i can say about ps4 itll make you a believer and at the same time find it hard to believe its so much better than ps3 and any other console out there. Plus its cheaper in price and subscription. Theres only one thing harder to believe and thats how much value you get from ps plus on all sony consoles.

Overall I would say that the new Playstation 4 console is definitely next-gen. I had a few problems with initial setup and some of the apps would randomly close with no notifications. However, after restarting the app everything works fine. It would be nice if there was a longer charge cord supplied, as in today's world with larger screen televisions, it is nearly impossible to continue playing a game or whatever while having to sit so close. Causes serious eye strain when you have to plug in the controller and sit right next to the tv while it charges. Only third party accessories seem to offer a generous length cord (10ft). Great console, thanks Sony!!!

I have always been a fan of Sony and I made sure I preordered this system as soon as I was able to. I was a bit disappointed to have problems from the start. For example, the system had issues activating my UPlay account for AC4, sometimes downloads would start over all by itself. If the system was in suspend mode and I woke it up during this, I would have over 100 notifications telling me that a specific game is being installed over and over. The system has crashed numerous times and sometimes, there are some network glitch issues where PSN randomly goes down. However, it seems like the most recent patch has resolved most of this. It will be even better once they include the wireless BT patch. The live broadcast was great and I love the free (PS Plus) game, Contrast...though we were mislead since the President of Sony himself said we would get DriveClub on Day one, not this cheap game. I beat it in one day. So far so good and I'm sure Sony just needs to "Iron Out The Bugs." I love the controller however. The touchpad is great, I like hearing sounds out if the controller, and the feel is great.

Bought this for my son for Christmas and I find myself playing just as much as he does. The realism with the graphics are amazing!! We had the XBOX 360 before and made the switch to the PS4 since it came out a week earlier than the XBOX One. I am so glad that we chose the PS$ and by the way it is still hard to get and the XBOX One is widely available around town, makes me know that everyone wants a PS4 and stores can't sell XBOX One's...

It like Sony did a check list on what was wrong with the PS3 & went one item at a time and fix it. Runs smooth now so quite plus the system upgrades are much faster. I just love my PS4

After a good week with the PS4, it is one of the better console launches in recent memory. The feeling of have brand new hardware finally taking use the 1080p display you have is something I've been waiting since the PS3 was announced. With games like Killzone and NBA 2K14 leading the way of what the new hardware is capable at launch, the next round of titles will certainly make you want to upgrade to the PS4. With the PS4 being $100 less than the Xbox One, it's one of the more easier choices to jumping into the next generation. Even with a nice diverse line-up of games, there is no must have title to make the PS4 a must-buy right now. Call of Duty and Madden are on PS4, but you can also get those games on the current system you might have without the cost of a new console. Just like any other console launch, the must have titles will come in years time. The PS4 is great pick-up for those wanting the latest in tech or for those who want a refresh in today's gaming hardware. With the nice line-up of games, powerful hardware, and cheaper than the competing Xbox, the PS4 is just that system.

Interface is great and user friendly. System worked right out of the box. Loved all the previous Playstations. This one takes the cake!

This is a fantastic gaming machine. The graphics are amazing, The User Interface is very fast and easy to use. The machine is powerful and has great speed. Tons of fun to play on!!!!!

This product works really well. I love it and I play it everyday. It's really fast with updated software and easy to set up and to use. I haven't found anything I don't like about it.

A must have. The PS4 has a better interface and is easier to navigate than previous models. The graphics are top of the line which make playing video games on a HDTV almost life like.

The system is incredibly easy to set up even if you have no technical skills. The graphics are like nothing I've ever seen before. Just wish there more games when the system launched.

I like everything I've seen so far on the playstation 4 system . It's a great system for gaming , I have the camera and I like all the voice commands its pretty cool how you can use it on NBA 2k14 and the play room a new fun experience.The graphics are amazing 1080 p the controller I'm really liking the way it feels in your hand and the touch pad is really cool. I'm also liking the PS4 menu how it performs its like a iPad menu . I have also played the XBox one my brother has one and I gotta say that the Playstation 4 beats the Xbox one in every way.playstation 4 was worth the money and I really enjoy it and I see myself playing it for years to come.

The new user interface is so much better and user friendly. I love how quickly the applications/games startup. Graphics are amazing, thanks Sony for delivering another great product.

I have been very impressed by the PS4. It is super easy to navigate from place to place and game to game. Everything works very fast and is a huge improvement over the PS3. I loved my PS3, but the PS4 blows that away. I have only played Assassins Creed 4 but it looks amazing and it is very fast to load. The free games have worked well and the new PSN actually works. I really enjoy the video streaming and being able to watch other people play their games and interact with them. That was something that I thought I would never use and usually check it out to see what is on before I start a game. I am looking forward to seeing what else the PS4 can do.

I traded in all my PS3 equipment towards the PS4, Ghost Warrior & PS4 camera about 3 months before it was released (it paid for most of it). I was excited for the camera because it is 1080p and had 4 mics on it as well; I do video chat with my brother in NY. When I got the system I found out that the video chat along with most Bluetooth devices are not compatible with the PS4. I love the system and the upgrades. The system is sleek. I like the blue light in it and the controller. I like the new controller design and its functions. I stumbled across the fact that you have limited voice control ability with it. I am still waiting for Sony to release an update so Bluetooth accessories work and the video chat works. If the video function works and someone can tell me how to use it I would appreciate it. Other than waiting on Sony to release the updates to get the full function of the PS4 I love it. I have friends who decided to go with the Xbox One and they say it is a lot better than the PS4 and its full capabilities worked right out of the box. Hope Sony releases the updates soon.

The PS4 is amazing. Super fast and smooth UI. The PS store works great and the new Dualshock 4 is simply the best controller I've ever used. Welcome to next gen. Greatness is here!

This is a great update from the ps3. The new Controller is very comfortable along with the motion and speaker built in. The graphics are amazing. Dont know how they could top this.

Great system. Controller is comfortable and love the built in speaker . Assassins Creed is just GORGEOUS! No complaints at all here.

Being a gamer this system is great easy to hook up to your tv, and its so small it can fit anywhere, also the controller is amazing.

I am extremely impressed with the console. Easy to setup straight out of the box and comes with a few surprising extras ($10 PSN credit, free month of PS Plus, etc.). I was able to power up and log in to my account within a few minutes of getting it all setup. I downloaded the mandatory firmware update, and BOOM, ready to play. I was disappointed when I heard Knack was receiving less than stellar reviews so I returned it and picked up NBA2K14, and I am pleased with that, but I was hoping for a good exclusive (other than a shooter) on launch day. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase, and Sony has plenty of potential with this new system!
