The system is much faster and easier to use than the ps3 and has some great new added features. I only wish it had a few more games at launch but the games it does have are great

Sony has really listened to gamers and made a gaming machine that gives you the best specs (arguably) of any home gaming console. The new Dual Shock 4 controller is absolutely the best game controller that Sony has ever made. It has a great balance of weight, button and stick configuration and slightly longer and non-slip handles for us with larger hands. Add to this Blu-ray and, from a pure gaming system, it's truly an amazing piece of technology. My only gripe is the current round of games available. If you love sports games, you'll be extremely satisfied. Sony's own launch franchises are mediocre (Knack) to great (Killzone Shadowfall). There are some great third-party titles that will satisfy online gamers (CoD GHOSTS, Battlefield 4) but not enough to get a casual, rarely multiplayer gamer like me through the holidays. Eventually, more Sony IPs and cross-platform titles will catch up. So, in as short as a few months, the PS4 should begin to really show why Sony took the initiative, really listened and made a gaming console that no gamer should be without.

I got this console on the day of release and love it. The graphics on the games are amazing. So far I have Madden 25, NBA 2k14, and Battlefield 4. I also bought the vertical stand for the console and have found out that when trying to play Battlefield 4 it causes the game to corrupt the save file. Luckily the saved file is also backed up on another server so I was able to recover it. Tried it many times to make sure it wasn't just that one instance and everytime I started the game it corrupted the saved file. I turned the console back over to be horizontal and it worked just fine... Other than that so far the console has been great.

This is an interesting follow up to the Playstation 3. No longer is Sony is trying to sell a premium home theater/gaming do it all. The system is more game focused, fewer dsitractions, but it still has plenty of media options. Now it just needs to build up the game library.

Absolutely loving my PS4 so far! The hardware is amazing, blazing fast and user-friendly. I am blown away, it's much better than I expected. BUY IT, don't think about it twice!

This is truly an amazing system. Worth every penny! I have enjoyed every game I have played so far from NBA2K13 to Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag. I wasn't sure if I needed it since I already have the PS3 but the PS4 DEFINITELY steps it up a notch. Plus with the camera, you get added game play plus these cute little camera games that allow you to interact and dance with little robots or a flying robot and a giant rubber ducky. When you win a game you get to pop open a bottle of Champagne and spray it all over your losing friend. I would definitely stand in line for this again. I don't have anything negative to say at this point.

PS4 is definitely worth the price. The graphics are awesome, much quicker loading times and can't wait to try out the new 4K format disc. Setup is really easy and fairly fast as soon as you hook it to the internet. Menu fairly easy to use and simply. Playstation story is kind of empty, only choices are movies and music, not a whole lot of games, and no PS3, PS2, or PS1 games at this time, hopefully in the future. Movies downloaded in past will transfer over, but seems like they're still working on the store. Must have Playstation plus to play online. Seems like they have switched aiming and trigger buttons to R2 and L2 on shooter games, sort of like the Xbox. Seems like you are able to use some of the old head sets as long as they have a USB and optical input. Got 3 month trial to Playstation plus and $10 redeem code for store so was able to transfer Ghosts from PS3 to my PS4 for free, has that option for a few games but you still need the PS3 game to actually play the game even after it downloads it from the store. All and all I'm ver satisfied

I deiced to purchase this gaming console at the very last minute because it was going to have better graphics and less costly than the other console. Everything is good so far

Great price for a great console. Killer graphics and lots of great games coming for this console. I've owned both the Xbox 360 and PS3 for years but the PS/4 will be my only new console purchase for a long time.

It's ans awesome machine, I really like it. For me, I personally can tell a difference between ps3 and ps4. Now that I'm playing cod ghosts I can see more details on the ps4 than ps3, the controllers make a lot of difference, it's hard to get used to them but once you get comfortable they are great. You need a nice tv too to actually see the differences, I own a sony tv, kdl47w800a and I love it. The downloads on the ps4 are way faster than the ps3 so that's a plus. The only thing that they need now is to bring more ps4 games with the ps camera. I'm about to buy the ps vita so I can play on it when my girl wants to watch tv.

This system is a great upgrade for the PS3. The interface looks amazing and the controller is pretty cool. The internet download speed is fast and the graphics look smoother.

I bought both systems the XBOX One and the PS4. And before I bought both if I had to get one system I would said it had to be xbox. However, after owning both, I would now have to say that if I only had to choose one it would be the PS4. The PS4 is a $100 dollars cheaper and is a small and compact system. I love the share button on the ps4 controller it makes it very easy to stream and share your gameplay. Also, the user interface of ps4 is also new and designed more user friendly in my opinion.

Sony has done an excellent job delivering the new PS4 with outstanding hardware at a very competetive price point. I'm coming from both a PS3 and a 360. I went with PS4 to start due to Sony's focus on gaming and the fact that I was not interested in the Kinect or the Cable TV integration associated with the XB1. The most impressive thing compared to the PS3 is how much cleaner and more responsive the UI has gotten compared to the sluggish UI of the PS3. Also, if you own more than one playstation system, get PS+ for sure. I now have a Vita, PS3, and PS4, and with PS+ I literally never have to buy games at this point.

This system is beast. It's as powerful as a high end pc system and super fast. Games are unbelievable. Also simple to use ui.

I pre-ordered this system with killzone and I absolutely love the new interactive and social features. Live streaming of gamers playing and also of themselves. The ability to post video and snapshots of what your playing with buddies on FB. Awesome. About a quarter of the game completed on killzone and the graphics are awesome. But as for the game in general I would only say it's ok. 1886, which is released in late december is supposed to be the 1st good game so I'm looking forward to that. Games can only get better from here. None released so far have used the full potential of PS4. Looking forward to the next year.

Easy to set up. Easy to use. Made the switch from Xbox to play station and couldn't be happier. The new controller is easy to use. Great graphics. The gameplay is amazing.

I like the new Sony PS4, it is much hotter than PS3. Great Graphics, New Features, Camera abilities, Talking to friends when they are on a different game as you. Love it!

I love the PS4 and will be buying an Xbox One, but had to get this while it was available. I skipped the PS3 and so I have missed owning a Sony system. Game on everyone!

A truly amazing gaming device. Media apps are growing on the system for additional streaming options. Controller is a huge improvement from DS3. Extremely quiet machine.

Easy to set up, and get started. There is a very shallow learning curve when transitioning from the PS3. New controller design is excellent and more comfortable to use.
