I love the new system, especially with Playstation Plus, you immediately have games to play on it without buying anything additional. The upgrade program for some games from the PS3 to the PS4 version is great as well. I wish the option to upgrade more games via PSN from PS3 to PS4 was available though. Like any system at launch, game variety is not there but this is a fantastic system straight out of the box.

The console looks sleek and the graphics for Call of Duty: Ghosts look amazing on this console. The dualshock controller feels great, and I can't wait to see how developers utilize the touchpad for gameplay. I wish they would allow the use of the touchpad for navigation throughout the Playstation menus. I didn't get the Camera (I'll wait to see if developers use it for actual gameplay), but if it had come with the console, that would have been cool. Otherwise, it's considerably cheaper than the PS3 when it was first released, and $100 cheaper than the Xbox One. I can't wait to play some of the other games that

Sony scores as usual. The PS4 is another great machine is a long line of great Sony machines. They continue to build on the business model that has been so successful for them thus far. The PS4 is sleak, affordable, easy to set up and offers superior sound and graphics at a very consumer friendly price for all the features it packs. Unfortunately at the same time Sony still has not improved on it's annoying parts. Mainly the recharging cord for the controllers is crazy short. For people who have extended gaming sessions or forget to charge the controller could run into problems. So you'll have to spend extra on a longer cord. I also feel that the main menu on the PS3 was much easier to navigate and flowed a lot better. Perhaps the biggest surprise is the inability to customize your background but I'm sure that will change in a patch. I doubt Sony will want to lose all that money from selling themes and background skins. Overall I am very happy with it thus far and it's more than deserving of a 4 star rating.

GREAT GRAPHICS, Vey easy to set up. Controller is very nice and comfortable in my hands. I like the looks of the Play station 4. I would recommend it to all my friends.

I bought the ps4 launch day, set it up and hadn't really done much with it til a few months ago. I really like the face recognition and sign in the camera offers. Graphic wise compared to my ps3 the ps4 looks great. Ive always been a PlayStation consumer, but i purchase every system due to exclusive material. regardless of what other systems I have i always end up using my PlayStation more, and with all the great games coming in the next year my PS4 may be seeing some overtime.

It was worth every penny! PS4 has a nice interface and graphics.

The PS4 lets my college gamer connect with friends for multiplayer games and is also great for solo play. The PlayStation Network member card lets him download free games and purchase games for electronic download. Great gift for someone leaving for the dorm.

This console is for gaming. The interface is quick and easy to use. The controller feels amazing in your hands. They have such pretty graphics. This console is great.

I got this on launch day at Best Buy a week ago and having a blast playing it. I went ahead and upgrading the hard drive first thing out of the box and had no trouble with it. I went with a hybrid drive that doubled the capacity of the stock hard drive. The games look so good on this console. So crisp and detailed. Everything is just so much faster than on the PS3. The menu and interface and the store...you just seem to move much more quickly on the main menu. I'm looking forward to another batch of games coming out in the new year but not in a hurry since I'm having so much fun with the ones I bought.

i love playstations. i have all of them ever made. i was disappointed at the hard drive space in ps4. the games take up a lot of space and adding just a little games fills up space very quickly. im the type that doesnt like having to delete games off my system to add more games or be able to make saves. if you are planning to get this be sure u know how to add another hard drive or wait for the next version to be released with at least a terabite one.

I had to chose between the PS4 and Xbone. This system the PS4 hands down is a really powerful system compared to the xboxone. With the exclusive games coming out for this like Uncharted will get people to understand how much this system means for all gamers..

very pleased with it as I took it out of the box. easy to use. camera is cool and fun. online play is good sets up with people of same ability. graphics are awesome.

I got this product on opening morning. Played for about 20 hours total now. It is a lot better than the ps3. Only thing I don't like is the battery life on the ds4.

Way more better graphics, runs smoother & without over heating, you can barely hear it working, quiet and good looking.

The next-gen has definitely arrived for avid gamers with the arrival of the new Play Station 4. I was amazed when first powering on my new device, at the amazing speed and functionality that the new play station offers. I was able to download the software update and start installing my first game at the same time. I soon realized I could also browse the playstation store and begin downloading the instant game collection included with playstation plus. I am very pleased with my purchase, and I am looking forward to many great titles coming soon like Watch Dogs, Destiny, Dying Light, and Drive Club.

Why Good rating? Well it runs of of space if you are playing 4 to 6 games. Need more HDD Space.

The PS4 is far better than the Xbox One... Mainly because it's built for gaming and not trying to be gimicky with all the media outlets. I'm glad you're not forced to buy the camera like the kinect because really is that essential to the gaming experience? Plus it's $100 less than the xbox one and isn't the gigantic is terms of size when you compare the 2. I would say the lights in the dark are a bit much but if you turn the console sideways the light isn't much of a factor.

Sony has raised the bar in the area of gaming. The graphics and storage are amazing for the price. The controllers charge while the system is in standby mode and it has great accessories to go along with the system. The independent games from developers look really good like, Resogun!! Sony makes great hardware and the new look for the Playstation home screen looks cleaner. All around I am pleased that I bought the PS4 first over Xbox One just based on price vs value alone.

This was supposed to be the best and brightest new gaming console. I don't think it's quite there yet. In a couple updates maybe. You were supposed to be able to buy a game and start playing it while it finished downloading in the background. I was not able to do this. The PS3 plays 3D movies and games, PS4 does not and I love my 3D stuff (I own many movies and games in 3D). But it looks cooler than the PS3 and the controllers are way nicer. Also it's NOT an entertainment system like xBox one, it is a gaming platform and I hope Sony keeps it that way thru PS44. The visual appeal is total stunning. I've only downloaded Need for Speed and Assassins Creed IV, but man they are top notch. The worlds look so real and you can interact with almost everything. Way cool. All in all I don't know why you'd not want this system. Yes it needs some tweeking still, but I firmly believe that this will be a huge system for Sony, like the PS2, which still sells today. So go buy one now and enjoy!
