I only gave it a four out of five stars is because I hate that its not backward compatible with all of the older PS games PS,PS2, and PS3. It also can't play cd's so you can't download music to it, and you can't put pictures on it so you can't change the theme or the XMB background like you could with the PS3. It also can't support Blu-Ray 3D disks. The only way you can put music on it is with the Music Unlimited subscription service which is expensive and that isn't right.The PS4's PSN store still doesn't have any game demo's for future games and doesn't have any game video's for future games. It also still doesn't have all of the tv shows that is already out in particular Anime Series. But it does how ever have some descent PS4 disk based games and also has the updated version of Netflix. They also need to add more App's especially the Neon Alley App.

Next Gen is here and it's great. The console is still too young to fully get experience which is why I gave it a 4, but soon should be a 5. There were netowrk issues on day one which stopped you from logging into PSN and linking your account. Since then all has been fine. You really get a good value for this product considering the PS3 cost $600 at launch. The UI is fast and seemless, broadcasting gameplay or posting vids and pics are easy and fun. Graphics are great, but still waiting for more games to come out to really blow our mind. Having 2 pretty good games for free instantly via PS+ was also good. Just waiting for more features like cloud gaming, remote assistance and various other apps to fully be operational though, just wish everything was ready out the box. There's still so much to figure out though, but I've had a great time with it so far!

Overall fantastic console made by Sony and hopefully just the beginning. With so many consoles released into the wild it was bound to have some hiccups as I've read and seen over the past few days. So I can understand how being super excited to use your brand new Playstation 4 and it ends up not even working as soon as you try to boot it up. Remember its Sony who makes it and not BestBuy peeps. But like I said it always has room for improvement but overall worth the purchase especially with more games to be released soon.

Totally Amazing system! Glad I made the choice to get this system. Graphics are crazy awesome! Game play and interface are very smooth!

Only have about 8 games installed, and my hard drive is about half full. Other than that, it's a great system, if you can find one....

No problems so far. I enjoyed it right out of box. The controller redesign feels great on PS4. It had a good line up of games at launch. It was easy setup and PSN Plus has some free to play games as well. The step up to next gen is next level graohics and what it can do more of on screen adding to realism. It has a sleek look similar to old PS2 and and is smaller than original PS3. Is it worth step to next gen? I'd say yes and i look forward to all the Sony exclusives. They have that on Xbox if not more now for sure.

The Playstation 4 is a very solid system. Some of the best specs currently between all the available options. With a price that is very much competitive to anything else out there for what you are getting. You get games and blu-ray capabilitiy. As well as Netflix and Amazon Instant Video, and Hulu Plus. Resogun is about the best game available on the system. Most of the titles are multi-platform that you can get on your current system(except for Killzone and Knack). Knack is a really fun game, even better played as a co-op journey than a single player one. Killzone is average. Very shiny, but nothing ground breaking in terms of FPS gameplay. As of this writing, You would be better off waiting til a better selection of games are available. Though, go ahead and purchase the system if you want to experience next-gen gaming that much sooner.

So glad I preordered and purchased this PS4 as it does just about everything I ask of it. It has beautiful graphics on the games and with more features to come via firmware updates the future looks bright. I know alot of people are concerned about defective consoles but as like all launch systems that is a certainty. I would advise to simply install necessary firmware updates and you will be fine. I highly recommend this system to anyone looking to invest in both a video game machine and a social gathering system.

As usual PlayStation does it again a great video console. It is worth the money I payed a lot more for the ps3 when it came out. The graphics are great but the future looks better it has a unbelievable graphic processor that has not been utilized yet but the potential is there. I am partial to PlayStation but anybody will not be disappointed except with paying for online gameplay and its not backward compatible.

This system is very nice...nice interface and features. Nice graphics and sound. Very happy with it so far but just need more games.

Well worth the wait. Sony has done a great job with this system. Smooth and crisp graphics, excellent interface. My only complaint is a lack of SPECTACULAR launch games (was looking forward to Watch Dogs). Great system to have around the house.

Great console. Fresh out of the box this system looks sleek and is much smaller than you would expect. The system is smaller than my ps3 super-slim 500gb model. The controller is the best thing I have ever used, seriously. I have used the Xbox One controller and Sony takes the cake this round. I am a fan of the Xbox 360 controller but the feel, analog sticks, and trigger buttons just do it better this time around. The interface is very simple, seamless, and looks beautiful. The graphics are such an enjoyment and it gives you such a great feeling knowing that what you get now, is the worst it will ever be, and it's pretty darn good as is! I highly suggest this console for anyone just venturing into the gaming world to the native video game veteran. This is console that surely will not disappoint and it can only get better from here.

Good times. Knack is fun. Call of duty ghosts is fun. New controller is great. Easy setup up. Vita remote play was easy to connect.

Enjoyed the gaming experance so far games load faster noticeable upgrade in graphics faster loading time .while the mic worked ok I liked the comfort of the Turtle Beach P4C mic that plugs in the controler better..The only errors I have had delt with connection problems that were fixed by resetting modem and that hasn't happened but twice . Pick a couple games you like and just like the PS3 launch we are going to have to wait a few months before you can increase your gaming library. See you on the battlefield.

I remember the commercials for the PS3 - It just does Everything. Well, the PS4 does very little by comparison, but what it does, it does well. The graphics are a lot better and the interface is much smoother. But if you are looking for an all-in-one home media machine, hang on to your PS3.

The next generation systems are here! Easy interface, improved controller and graphics makes this an easy buy for hardcore gamers!

This is another solid system that Sony put out for the gaming public. It was what I wanted it to be and more. The controller has been redesigned and feels better then they ever have. The games look better then before, although there are not that many exclusives games at launch, but I know I will be getting some more down the line. Not like I have all that much time to play them all anyways. Good job Sony!

So far it is great. The issue is with BF4 not the PS. This system is by far better than the PS3 in every way. I don't like having to pay for PS plus to play online but it is what it is. Overall I'm very happy with it and there are no exclusive titles like what Sony puts out. Killzone, uncharted and let's not forget God of War and many others. It is very easy to set up and the GFX are sick for a console as this is close to a high end PC. There is no way you can build a PC with these specs for this price.

PlayStation 4 plays next-gen games @ 1080p for $100 cheaper than competition's 720p. The difference really is noticeable. Games look better on the PS4. Game selection isn't that great yet but it will get better. Look into getting a better headset Mic if you are into multiplayer games like Battlefield 4. You don't hear as many people compared to Xbox live, hopefully that will change. If you want next gen gameplay and don't care about Kinect, social media, or a new cable box. Look no further than the PS4.
