Amazing new system, the graphics are stunning and blu-ray player has very quick loading times. Installing the games on the hard drive takes a little while, but the visual results are well worth it. Huge step up from the PS3, highly recommended.

I have been a gamer for most of my life. I have played every console that has ever came out and the PS4 is hands down the best gaming platform available. Setup took about 30 minutes due to required downloads but other than that I was up and running in no time! Game graphics are amaing! This is the must have gaming console! I have played the Xbox one and its a nice system but I have several friends who are already having issues with their Xbox which is a know problem for Xbox in the past.

The PlayStation 4, when it was announced, stood across the gap from the "all-in-one" Xbox One. It was a system designed for games, games, GAMES. Unfortunately, the system lacks any killer software at launch. Killzone is beautiful but uninspired; a tired sequel to a franchise that feels whipped into step. Resogun is visually impressive, but simplistic and lacks mainstream appeal. The hardware is nothing without software, and right now, the PS4 lacks that software. The controller is fantastically redesigned - much more comfortable than the DualShock 3. I honestly haven't a thing to suggest for improvements. The only other hesitation I have at the moment is that the UI lacks structure and organization. Everything is rather cluttered and there's no way to manually organize your games and apps.

The system itself looks awesome. The User Interface is basically an upgraded XMB. If you liked the XMB, you'll like this interface. It is also incredibly snappy and responsive. Getting in to and out of the Playstation Store is seamless. Not like on PS3 where it takes 30 sec to a minute to load. It loads instantly and is integrated in to the UI. The Dualshock 4 is very ergonomic and is a substantial upgrade from the Dualshock 3. Highly recommend this to every gamer, casual or hardcore.

Small compact, well built, better designed controller. Has the best first party games coming out. Overall great purchase.

I have one for my son and myself. We both love it and have played some games together. Sound is good through Receiver as you can choose to have Dolby or DTS decoding for your sound output. New Dualshock 4 controllers are much nicer and have more weight to them. Netflix, Hulu Plus and Amazon Instant Prime all work flawlessly and streaming in 1080P for me. Playstation Plus is worth it for the 2 free games a month to get your library. Get the chat headset as the one included is terrible.

First time Playstation owner and I can not think of anything to complain about. Some will say that at launch there were issues and yes the servers were overloaded but the PS4 is still exceeding my expectations. Great UI and easy to use. I have been a Xbox user for over 10 years and the transition from that to Playstation went off without a hitch. Easy to set up my account and integrate with social media. I can not wait to see where Playstation takes it's users in the next few years.

Over all i think its Great. the controller has been updated and I think it feels better then the PS3 controller. Now if they every let me play with my PS3 game on the PS4 (I wish) then I wouldn't need to have both the PS3 and PS4 in the same room. I would be nice if i could Play in the house with a purchase of one game on both systems (Game Sharing on the same network) but again thats a big wish. Well I guess I will need to update this review as time goes on and system updates happen. So far the Graphics are the same as they are on the PS3. i haven't tried to play any videos from a USB or USB harddrive that have I have ripped maybe that will be in an update as well. Would i recomment this YES. If anyone is a Fanboy like i am about Playstation then this is the upgrade we all needed.

I switched over from Xbox 360 and was very skeptical. The transition was seamless! The controller is amazing! The system is smooth as butter, party chat is top notch quality, and OS is better than the Xbox this time around. PlayStation plus is awesome, offering free games every month and not any old game, new and triple A titles too. Also, discounted games...there's NOTHING like that on XBL. Can't wait for future features to be added. Sony is KILLING the competition in every angle.

When I hooked up my PS4, I initially noticed how fluid the motion was as I played Call of Duty Ghost. The console is easy to navigate, and easy to use. The only problem that I encountered was that the Free Fall map and the other extras were not accessible. The were in my library, but not playable. I looked into this problem and found that others had this problem as well. I found a fix two days later and my PS4 functions the way that it was intended. Good console, I recommend one.

The PS4 is great and no issues so far. The graphics are really good, and the improved dashboard is easier to navigate.

Overall, very pleased with this purchase. Worth the money. Amazing graphics. Wifi capabilities work great. Easy setup

PlayStation came out with their product with little revision from their live event presentation. Meanwhile its competitors had to realize that the consumer was not buying into their vision and had to make more pronounced adjustments. Besides that, the PS4 is a beast of a gaming machine which has great graphics and smooth game play. I can't wait for more games to become available.

Servers have great speed, easy to set up, the graphics are great. It is a great console with very high quality games

I had a hard time deciding on what next gen system to buy and I now know I chose correctly. The new controller, the processing speed of the PS4, and it's looks all are my favorite things about the PS4. I've been playing Killzone: Shadow Fall and I am quite blown away with this new chapter of the Killzone series. It doesn't even resemble what Killzone 3 on the PS3 was like. I own a PS3 and a Xbox 360 but I can tell I won't be using them very much more after playing the PS4.

The system is a masterpiece. There have been a few launch hiccups and bugs, but it has been smoothed out with frequent updates to both the firmware and games. I enjoy it every time I sit down to play, and the graphics have not stopped blowing my mind. The camera is also a nice addition, allowing for voice controls.

The controller is the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of good things about the PS4. The controller feels great in the hands and I love the mic/headphones jack on the bottom. I hooked up my headphones with a built in mic that I use with my cell phone and they work. I can have all the audio from the PS4 go thru the controller and I can use the mic. Loads and startups are much improved. There could be a better games selection but thats with any new console.

Ps4 is awesome. Love everything about it. I would totally recommend this product to anyone. The set up is so easy.
