The PS4 was a easy buy and I'm not disappointed. The graphics are highly enhanced, the apps are a nice way to go thru stuff, the added GB are much needed. The only down remark I have is the fact that you have to pay for online but I saw it coming! Go get it!!!!

I bought my ps4 at gamestop, and all I have to say I am shocked. The graphics 8g ddr5 makes a big difference and Killzone Shadow fall and Call of duty ghost is amazing. Sony really got it right this time.

Works like a champ. Best console so far. Not sure what problems are. My Xbox comes in next week too. Hopefully just cas smooth a PlayStation launch.

The Playstation 4 is the console of the next generation to focus on gaming and not being an entertainment hub. Cleaner graphics, brighter colors, a more accepting platform for independent game developers, great first party titles, improved controller ( Dualshock 4 ), faster download and install times for games purchased through PSN ( Sony's online digital store ).

Best Gaming system ever. If your looking at videos on websites and judging graphics that way then your wrong if you saying graphics isn't that good. When you look at the graphics personally its the most amazing graphics I have seen on consoles. Everything you can do on the system is amazing. Battlefield 4, Killzone: Shadow Fall and NBA 2k14 are the best games available and highly recommend to get Hands Down. Most games are 1080p unlike xbox one only 720p

I have a ps4, a nintendo 3ds and a Wii U. Even though Nintendo consoles are my passion, I know that Sony`s PS4 is a much better solution for a casual videogamer player. Its a better investiment. Sony`s first party games are pretty good (Uncharted and God of War among others) and their third party support is the best. You can get no wrong with this machine. By the way, the controller is amazing. The only bad thing is PSN which fails a lot!

Was going to wait until next year to purchase a next gen console, but decided to try my luck at launch day and managed to score a PS4 without a pre-order. The system is impressive, fast and a lot of games are running native 1080p which look gorgeous on an HD TV. I did the $9.99 digital upgrade for BF4 and when the menu opened, I thought to myself, "this looks just like the PS3", but when gameplay started, it was beautiful, looking like it was a movie.

Cons: I am a Playstation 1, 2, and 3 lover, but I am very disappointed from Sony this time. In order to lower the price, Sony sacrificed the quality of a long expected console. It looks and feels cheap made. I know it is stronger, but loading does not seemed so different. Also, I get a lot of errors when the games (specially Battlefield) is trying to save at the check point. When you update the game from the PSN as required before you can continue playing, it erases your progress. Pros: Graphics look great, and sound is crisp. I hope that Sony can fix those bugs and redeem themselves in the near future. I am looking forward to a new game level, like they promised. Please do not let XBox beat you (I have an XBox 360 just for Halo).

I love my PS4. I purchased one on the release date and I've used it for everything, movies, games, music. The system itself is more technically capable than the Xbox One and is the way to go if you are looking for beautiful visuals. That said, it does still freeze sometimes when shutting down which is frustrating but that will get better with software updates.

Very happy with my purchase. It was a great upgrade. Started having problems with my 80g PS3. So it released at a gret time for me. It is just as easy to hook up as the last one. More intuitive. My kids love it.

I picked up my console during the midnight event and haven't put the controller down! This is the next generation in gaming and you can definitely tell once you power on the system and play a game for the first time. Amazing that this console is so great at launch, can't wait to see the advances in the games that become available in a year or two down the road!

We decided, after careful consideration, to jump from our beloved 360 platform to a PS4. There were so many gaffes that MS had made during launch and design that simply could not overcome my desire to leave. I saved $100. I received a comparable product. I never have to pay for online gaming. My existing 360 headsets (or any standard 3.5mm mic/headset works) work. Controllers are rechargeable by default. The list goes on, but I recommend the shift!

What can I say, the PS4 is awesome! I had Call of Duty:Ghosts on PS3 and was easily able to upgrade to the digital version for the PS4. Man let me tell you, there is a pretty noticeable difference between the upscaled graphics of the PS3 (also same as xbox360 and xbox One), and the native 1080p graphics of the PS4. It does a great job of showing off the power of the system. Also noticed that battlefield 4 was able to do 64 players online with ease.

I've had every playstation since the original. The controller is brilliant, and fits in your hand perfectly; this is the most powerful system I've played, and I love the 500GB of hard drive space available to you. I have nba2k14, Madden 25, FIFA 14, Call of Duty Ghosts, Battlefield 4, and Need for Speed Rivals. I love them all. The graphics shine through your screen in full 1080p, and the detail is amazing. This system is a must have for any gamer.

If you want a console for gaming, look no further. Sony has outdone themselves by making this machine for people who play video game. They have made the architecture easy to develop for, so expect a lot a great things to come. Who will win the console war? PS4 with out a doubt. Microsoft has tried to generalize the console by making it all-in-one, and tries to stay "gaming" competitive by throwing their cash around and buying exclusives...poor form.

Waited for the PS4 for a long time and then waited in line for a long time. Was well worth it, awesome game play quick load times. Even like the way it looks, black matches everything else I have tv receiver blu-ray player speakers. So far it's been a great Playstation, games look incredible very smooth. On line is pretty good also, over all a great machine.

I am so amazing on how beautiful and smooth this system runs! Traded in my laptop it wasnt working and I bought this instead and I'm very picky on what I keep and take back and I'm keeping this no doubt. Way worth $400 !!!!! If you have $400 buying this will be the best thing u ever owned!!!!!
